Not sure why anyone would pick a lot of SEC teams. This is the first time probably ever a team has been in P5 conference, won the regular season AND tournament and not been a #1 seed.

The SEC just isn't that good this year, as 'experts' keep picking UT, but they can't shoot.

Outside of Bama, I don't think I picked ANY SEC teams past the Sweet 16.

Not good for UF. Appleby is having a lot of difficulty there after that accidental head shot. That was a lot of blood too...yikes.

this honestly isn't all that rare. Has happened multiple times in both the Pac-12 and the SEC in the past ten years alone.

I'd be surprised if that has happened in the SEC. I'm just going off of Dick Vitale, who said it was the 3rd time ever.

Maybe.

Regardless, it's not all that common for a team to win both the regular season and then the tournament, so the stat seemed off, but I bet it's a rare occurrence.
