Not sure why anyone would pick a lot of SEC teams. This is the first time probably ever a team has been in P5 conference, won the regular season AND tournament and not been a #1 seed.

The SEC just isn't that good this year, as 'experts' keep picking UT, but they can't shoot.

Outside of Bama, I don't think I picked ANY SEC teams past the Sweet 16.

Outside of Bama and the Zags, and maybe Houston, MAYBE Houston, I don't see anyone outside of the B1G or Big 12 making the Sweet 16, but MSU already got beat by a lowly Pac team, so anything is possible.

Yeah the Big 10 might be overrated. I knew OSU was at least

B1G isn't overrated. There will always be Cinderella teams that make P6 teams work for it. And it's not like Oral Roberts hasn't been down this road before. And 9 B1G teams got into the tourney, there was no way all 9 would win games. I'd still be surprised if at least 3 don't make the Elite 8. Just might not be the Top 3 rated ones.

How so? They earned their high ranking by beating some seriously good teams on the road. They beat the Illini, Wisconsin and Iowa, all on the road. Know of any other team in the nation with 3 Top 30 ROAD wins not named Illinois or Michigan maybe? They also beat #35 Maryland on the road, as well. And road wins vs PSU & Rutgers were also pretty good wins.

yeah I had Florida, Va Tech or Arkansas beating them as well. Never going too far in most brackets.

lmao, this is Oral Robert's first NCAAT appearance in thirteen years. The seniors on ORU's team were nine years old the last time their school made the big dance. to expand on that, ORU hasn't won an NCAAT game since 1974.

Oral Roberts hasn't been down this road in a very long time. Oral Roberts was rated #150 on kenpom heading into this game. This was a horrible performance by Ohio State. They lost to a very bad team.

I'd agree with this. They did lose to NW and got swept by Purdue. Lost last 4 of the season and almost got beat by a injury laden Gopher squad in the Conf tourney.
