What can the Pats realistically expect to get for Gilmore? Everyone seems to think he’s gone. I just wonder what the return is??
Possibly him and #15 to move up and get a QB. May need to throw in a mid to late pick this year or a mid next year???

Excellent. I figured Gilmore is worth at least a 2nd rounder, but the NFL is always weird with the way picks are valued.

I’m still on a crusade to get Derek Carr. If the Pats can make that happen they suddenly become very dangerous. I’m not sure a rookie QB can make a similar impact.

I'd prefer Carr over trading a bunch of picks to move up and taking a chance that QB can become a franchise guy?

Gilmore is one of the best defensive players in that game

is it a sure thing he is traded?

You are my NFL guy. You tell me. Everyone is acting like it’s a given. I’m wondering what they realistically expect to get back for him.

The cap is a complicated thing, if they move him it has to be strictly a salary move

the way that defense is shaping up, from strictly a football standpoint, I’d want that guy

Lotta big money being thrown at “names” this offseason
AJ Green is the most ridiculous one yet
almost like teams are just trying to appease fans and not worry about actual production.

Yeah got him for $2.3M. Can’t beat that, he isn’t the best but the chemistry with Baker is extremely valuable. He probably didn’t have a market too...he plays even better this season, that will change
Thought he might get more than that but also thought rumors of him getting multiyear deals for $6 mil per were nuts.

No doubt a good fit with baker as Baker can make throws into tight spots and Higgins can make catches when tightly covered.....but the big $$ guys are the ones who can get separation, which is not Higgins.

love they kept Brown, as well. Look at us. TB North!! Keeping all our FAs.

Heard some talk a while back about the possibility of the Browns tarding OBJ. Is there any truth to that?
Anything possible, but I really think they'd need to be overwhelmed to do it.....but he and/or Landry will be gone after next season I think.

One of the two yes. They dont need that much wrapped up in wr with this offense.

Carr is solid

Then again now that I think about it IF they wanted to keep both a cap explosion might allow it. But, yeah, one will be gone if they need room for anything else.
