2021-2022 Mariners offseason/free agency thread

I'm not that big of a fan of Correa, especially for the amount of money he'll garner... He's too much of streaky player who strikes out 23% of the time... I'd take that if he hit more HR's... ... Production wise, he's an upgrade over JP but when you talk to the guys in the locker, JP has been the leader in the club house... That has some merit... I'd prefer we upgrade a different position...

if i was yankees i would trade with angels....yeah...i would....at least chapmon....and its hard..for...a mariners fan..to say that....
but we all....need a good yankees team...and we need to be able to beat them as well...but that is a diff story...

the angels will be good...any way ya see it....they have improved...pitching..

yankees need to...dump thoughs ...overpriced...bull pen guys.....that is where to start...then go from there...

if ya dump..them..to re -building teams...those teams just dont loose as much...and that team..still trades them at the deadline...to a contending team..
who...uses..them..till..the offseason.....then trades them....to a non contending team...again....a vicios cycle...for overpriced...bull pen guys...

I can't argue that. I only used him because he was the biggest fish left in the free agent pond. Now thinking abut it, I would take his $300M and spend it on 3 players like Suzuki, Bryant, and Story or equivalent.
