I loved Cammy. He wasn't Jr., but a great team player that you could win with.

Of course you need players like Cam to win but JRod has to be better than Cam.

Of course you need players like Cam to win but JRod has to be better than Cam.

To make us fans happy? Yes. To win? No. A Cammy type player can make this team win just as easy with all the little things he contributes. He had speed, power, defense, leadership, and probably other things we don't even know about. Baseball is so weird that even if JRod was Griffey he wouldn't be as big of a difference than a Cammy type player. Look at the two MVP's this year. How did their teams do? Yes better is better, but not sure elite is that much greater than A.S. level anymore.
