To make us fans happy? Yes. To win? No. A Cammy type player can make this team win just as easy with all the little things he contributes. He had speed, power, defense, leadership, and probably other things we don't even know about. Baseball is so weird that even if JRod was Griffey he wouldn't be as big of a difference than a Cammy type player. Look at the two MVP's this year. How did their teams do? Yes better is better, but not sure elite is that much greater than A.S. level anymore.

Not to make us happy, in order for them to be successful and make all of this rebuild matter. Cameron was a good player but JRod has to be better, an actual all star or at least a player where when you talk about the team you include him in the best players.

mariners get snell..and3ss..which they can use..they keep..de loach..and and send san diego..a player to be named...later


but san diego..gets lodolo and..castilllo..and they have..Ryan Weathers 40..already...LHP..they are better off..
