You have to cut pitchers down to 13 total on May 1st so I don't think Torrens is an issue until Lewis is healthy.
I know. Just IMO I think instead of carrying a guy who you have to inevitably have to release carry Kirby and Souza. I truly don’t think he has long term role because JRod, Kelenic and Haniger are the everyday players but he is more valuable. The only option of Torrens making the team IMO is if they trade or DFA Dylan Moore and turn Toro into the super utility guy (which I think is his ceiling with the Mariners). I may be jaded but I want at least a playoff berthed and with roster roulette you got your two most talented bullpen arms on essentially long rehab, got another semi closer in Romo but everyone else has to prove they aren’t a 1 hit wonder. Plus Brash is probably the 5th starter but he and Kirby can tag team that 5th man spot and leap frogging plus a bi polar bullpen. Romo is solid but he seems way to be smart to be a closer. He had an incredible interview being all hippie like but his goal is to win whether he gets a 5-9th spots.

The fuck? This is the question this writer has about the M's off-season?

I can’t read the whole thing but they got Giles and Munoz last year, plus adding Romo. With the no names plus those 3 guys the pen should be solid but there will be a pitch counts for those two when they are available to pitch. Pitching wasn’t an issue, pitching has been able to get them into the playoffs during this rebuild. The offense has sucked

I thought about keeping Brash and Kirby but flip flopping them might screw both up and putting one in the pen might screw that one up. I heard Brash say he felt off in his first outing because he came in relief and it threw off his routine. Pitchers are odd and routine means everything to them.
