We all know the Knicks are desperate. If CP3 goes elsewhere they will be in the bidding

i agree the Knicks are the most obvious place.

don’t sleep on Phoenix

The only thing about Wiggins is in key moments is he going to throw up those contested jumpers instead of making that extra pass or just being a decoy? Is he going to improve on defense? I guess we will see, to an extent I expect him to take the Harrison Barnes role (a better scorer)...if he can do that, they will be just fine.

True.

Except that he won’t be a decoy and he won’t have the ball unless he is wide ass open.

So you really don’t have to worry about the contested shots either.

And another one. This is what happens when you have a shitty coach who let Harden do what he want.

EG’s role was a low key reason why the Russ experiment wasn’t going to work.

Gordon is a good player. He can shoot and he can get to the rack off the dribble. His chances to make plays just weren’t there playing with 2 big usage players.

yeah the hope is that the dubs offense tricks people into thinking he’s good...call it the Harrison Barnes effect.

only Harden apparently

lol

Looks that way and even he seems like he's on the fence.

I can't remember the last time I saw so many players wanting to leave 1 team.

Rockets went from title contenders to full rebuild as quick as I've ever seen a team. They're going to be forced into making moves.

Yeah....please keep Harden away from the Heat.

for the head to get harden basically no one else would have to want him. Cause I don’t see them putting bam in the deal.

This is a weird and a huge red flag because at this point you can forget any big name free agent wanting to sign with Houston the public may not know exactly what the problem is but the rest of the players in the league do. CP3 wanted out now Russell Westbrook wants out, Eric Gordon didn't like his diminished role on the team. I don't really blame Houston for committing to Harden seems like they would rather be a team with an overrated star player paying him max money and be relevant than be without him and lose and be irrelevant.

I don't know where they go from here with Westbrook I doubt any team will give up much resources for him because Westbrook cant seem to win or get along with any other star player and it becomes a circus.

Yep, and now that it's known these guys want out, they aren't likely to get much for them either. That might even get their value down to a level the Lakers can afford.

I hope Pelinka is already on the phone looking to get Gordon or even House.

Does anyone want to be in Houston?

Time to start from scratch...and they won't even be going an OKC route where they have a couple young promising players. Literally starting from scratch. Trade Harden for a young player(s) and shit ton of draft picks. Get a young player for RW and just build off those picks. They've tried the put a surrounding cast around Harden, they tried the put another star next to Harden...he is only getting older. Not saying you have to trade him but think about it at some point.

The turning point was trading CP3 and Capela.

Yep, imo they need to talk to Silas, find out what system he wants to run and start trying to get young players who fit.

Assuming they are able to move them (now doesn't seem like the time to try to be moving big money contracts) it will be very interesting to see what the Rockets can get. I'd think that some of the shine has to be off of both Westbrook and Harden at this point.

I have to be honest, there would be some entertainment value in the Rockets not being able to move any of these guys. The implosion could be spectacular (although it would suck for Silas who seems like a promising young coach).

28 and Horton tucker for house is doable.

Mavericks may want him for 18.

two of the better fits I can think of
