The Wizards obviously aren’t trading Beal now.

And if they did, the Lakers don’t have enough tradeable assets to pull it off.
I will say...UNLESS Kuzma takes a BIG step but I’m with you, I see Beal as the future unless he forces his way out. Don’t see that either bc I think he loves D.C.

No.

Kuzma as an impending RFA has very little trade value now.

Even if he does force his way out, it won’t be to the Lakers.

I’ve seen crazier things never say never.

Have to match salaries anyway. Kuzma and Schroder IF Kuz were to take a huge step. Like I said I don’t see that happening and other teams could likely put together better deals.

I think next year the Lakers could resign Kuz at a good price if he becomes a better player

Yeah, when the Beal to the Lakers nonsense started up towards the end of the season I wasn't buying it. From what I've read, Beal doesn't want to leave and the Wiz aren't looking to move him. I'd also wager that if Kuzma does take a big step, the Lakers wouldn't be interested in moving him.

Do you not want them to have to even break a sweat? I like competition.

I know it wasn't fun for the rest of the league, but I enjoyed watching one of the greatest teams in history not break a sweat winning a title in 2017.

I don't know what everyone sees in Kuzma.. he can put up stats when everyone around him is garbage. And lose.

He is a 20 minute a night guy if the Lakers weren't still in love with him from 3 years ago.

you guys see Kyrie is supposedly refusing to talk to the media this year?

i wonder if that lasts- i think he is contractually obligated to speak to the media to be honest.

this guy just really went off the deep end. Talk about peeking early.

Hes just a weird dude to say the least. To want to fuck up finances for the whole league for his own ego is pretty much all I ever need to know or hear from him again. The fact he's in a union leadership position is bonkers.

No one cares what you or I think though. He wouldn't be a leader in the union if the players didn't want him there.

We don’t know what goes on beyond those closed doors and there are probably a lot of guys who like how he isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

But he is moody and makes emotional decisions. That is not what you want in a leader.
