Early happy turkey day to the best group of guys on tHoop.
Yep.....we reloaded @Retroram52.After letting Rondo, Howard, and Bradley walk, the Lakers traded Danny Green and a number one to OKC for Dennis Schroder, they re-upped KCP, and Markieff Morris, signed Marc Gasol, let DeMarcus Cousins basically go, signed Wesley Matthews, signed Montrezl Harrell from the Clippers no less, and in a cost and cap-saving move, traded a future second-round pick and JaVale McGee to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie. Not too shabby for a GM who was thought to be no better than a bag of dog shit.
Maybe they start him slowly like that but he is still young enough to play 25mpg or so.I doubt cousins plays over 18 minutes a game
If I had to guess... "veteran leadership"... "mentor the young guys"....
... and Adams does seem like a good, steady, lead-by-example type.
Initially sure.
By the time he gets in shape and assuming his body is cooperating, no reason to think he couldn’t play more. He won’t ever lead the league in minutes, but he can be more than a back up.
Again, if his body cooperates and if he is still effective.
This. I wouldn't have minded if we brought him back....good rebounder, passer and scorer....still a good defender.Yeah. He just turned 30, so it's not like he's old. Plus, I guess the positive side of the injuries is that it has saved mileage on his body. Like you said though, it's all about whether or not his body cooperates or not.
The Pets and Suns are 2 WC teans that are going to be in the playoffs next season....who will they knock out?
Early happy turkey day to the best group of guys on tHoop.
Suns, agree.
The Pels I'm not sure...still a young team, if Zion doesn't stay healthy they could struggle bigtime in a loaded conference.
I mean look at the other WC teams:
Teams that I still think are better than the Pels
Lakers
Clippers
Nuggets
Mavericks
Rockets (if they don't trade away their stars)
Jazz
Blazers (improved)
Suns (improved)
Warriors
Then you still have the Grizz
I think the same. dude brings a serious amount of grit to the table. we'll see if it's enough to get the Pellies to the playoffs, though...It's going to interesting. I think Adams is going make a really big difference for the Pels.

Definitely a solid starting lineup with Bledsoe, Redick, Ingram, Zion and Adams. Should be a fun team
^ Shooting/spacing is a major issue with that line-up overall.Definitely a solid starting lineup with Bledsoe, Redick, Ingram, Zion and Adams. Should be a fun team
Yeah that's why I think they could definitely struggle. As of right now I wouldn't put them in the playoffs^ Shooting/spacing is a major issue with that line-up overall.
