in that case he had a career year as a rotation player getting 8.5 sacks last season.

Depending on the money I'm fine with bringing in Irvin. Good guy that seemed sad to leave.

He's a guy that tends to get his sacks in bunches and disappear quite a bit but as a situational pass rusher he's probably a nice fit.

But we need another point of attack end along with Clowney.

So Rusini says Clowney wants $20M. Sign the dude at $17M and a $3M bonus for every year he surpasses 7 sacks?

I'd be ecstatic with something like that

What about taking a flier on Karl Joseph?

I remember a few years back. Him being compared to Kam.

This is Seattles process every year so just be patient and wait for it.....

There will be a run at guys and a high profile trade that's coming IMO, it's the JS/PC way.

I'll be surprised if we don't ink Clowney... I'm also feeling like we could get E.Griffin too... Be awesome if we could land both...

More to the secondary theory.

I think we are moving Flowers to NCB or FS and drafting a CB at 27

That would surprise me greatly. Thompson wasn't just demoted from starter, he was probably well down the safety depth chart. Diggs and McDougald will start, Blair will be given most of the remaining snaps available - and Hill providing more depth behind that. Even without Thompson - our safety position may be the deepest on the team.

Since Thompson took over for Thomas, the defense gives up 50 more passing yards per game (not including playoffs, though the results aren't too much different) than when Thompson wasn't playing.

Just say no to high priced import WRs. It just doesn't work how you hope hardly ever. Russell is the weapon anyway. Get him some help up front, and he'll make the plays no matter who we put on the outside. Lockett, Metcalf, Olson, Dissly, Carson, and maybe even Gordon is plenty to work with.

You still counting on Dissly? I'm not...

Dissly or not, it's still a bad idea to import high priced receivers. Maybe that's what you have to do when you have a middle of the road starter, but I don't think that's what you do when you have a guy like Russell Wilson. We were a fluke goal line interception away from winning a SB with 4 WRs who were not even drafted.

If Billy Bozeman goes down again, we will pick up the pieces just like we did this past season because our QB is going to be elite even with a practice squad TE at the top of the depth chart.

I understand what you're saying... It was a madden trade... I just said, "This would've been incredible... Hopkins, Lockett, DM? Dang!!!"... That's all... Wasn't lobbying for us to get him or pay him... Just was imagining how dominating that would've been...
