Finally put Shazier's career out of it's misery.

I wonder if he's making the push to join the coaching ranks? Going for an assistant position or something? I remember him talking about the possibility but couldn't pursue it while being rostered. Steelers were tolling his contract off PUP every year at dirt cheap so it wasn't exactly a hindrance to keep him shelved. Not exactly sure how long they could do that for, but it was a good way to keep him close to the team.

Honestly, I'm big on adding pieces to win in the next 1-2 years. And this doesn't help a lot on the surface with that. But it could if Ben would go down again. And I gotta admit, and I know the man throws interceptions like candy at a parade, but I've always been a fan of Winston. If someone could rein him in a little... or maybe that just gets a little better as he matures. I don't know. Wouldn't mind it at all though.

But honestly, I put those chances of it happening pretty low.

I am with the both of you would be all for this.
Yeah he might throw a ton of INT's but he also throws a ton of TD's which the later something that can't be said for the 2 backup QB currently on the roster.

A second round tender on Hilton. Wonder if that is the end of Sutton on the team?

Just need one more watt and the Steelers on their way to a monopoly on brothers playing in the NFL.

Well...TJ is about to get very expensive very soon...I think we're doing good to have two....lol.

Nix...body just failed him...that's a young man's position through and through.

Right. I still think the answer might be in the third round for IOL.

IDK about that, no doubt they can find a OG at 102, but I think the top/mid second round is where we will see the top 3 or 4 guys come off the board.

Maybe. I'm just going off the grading that I've seen. And assuming that 1-2 will go earlier than expected ala top of the second leaving the value questionable at their pick. But who knows what we will see. Nothing surprises me on draft day.

In this reportedly deep WR draft, BPA at 49 could very well be a WR or RB, but I think if a starting caliber IOL is there, they should be the pick....when you say value...I don't think they will fare as well as they did with Foster...lol.

Yeah, I think most of the fanbase is with you. I'm too dug in with BPA to really get behind it but you're definitely not alone.
