Depends on the situation. I believe flyers only have 2 guys on protocol, time may be up for Rangers game , I think it's like 7 days.

Idk about anyone else, but for me, Hextall being named GM of the Penguins makes me want to vomit up everything I eat for the next 24-48 hours.

To a lesser extent, it's like when Johnny LeClair signed with Shitsburgh near the end of his career or how Mark Recchi is an assistant coach with NJ.

The beat seems to think that was inevitable because the Flyers will need to practice a day or two before playing again and that's difficult to do in 1 week of COVID protocol. Next game is next Thursday now, should give them enough runway to get a practice or two in before playing.
