Patrick also skated with Couturier and Myers today, rather than with the big "healthy" squad. So that's concerning. I'm sure the beat will ask about it.
He took a pretty good hit, but I never saw him be effected, he played ok I thought.

UGHHHHHHH!!!

O’Connor hypothesizing that it’s not serious because Andreoff took his spot in the lineup and on the PP. He says it seems unlikely they’d do that in a game, so it would be silly to practice that way unless they expected Patrick to be ready to go.

Looks like just a maintenance day for Patrick. Expected to play tomorrow.

Elliot starts.

Ghost “not ruled out for tomorrow”. Based on the pairings in practice I’d say he plays.

Lol calm down, I'm just saying I wonder what it would look like to have a little heart in the line up. Morin brings that. He can't be worse than Braun, Hagg or Gus at this point. I'll give Friedman a pass, but he looked little and out of place. But with our defense I guess thats to be expected. Also its not just getting bent out of shape over a 3-2-1 start, its the fact nothing was done to correct this issue from last season. It gets old watching young talent pass us by because we can never pull the trigger on a person or players who can push us over the top.

If they want to get Morin into the game I’d be ok with it on the 4th line. Give him 5-8 minutes there to go hit somebody and inject some energy. If he can’t keep up with the play, there’s only so much damage a 4th line winger can cause.

Im good with that too. We needed that against Boston though. That shouldve been his role already.

Ya, once they moved him to W, that type of role in spot games here and there makes sense. I still don't think it's an every night role, just because he'd be scratching Raffl or NAK most likely and honestly, they're too talented to scratch for someone that's just out there to hit a few people on a handful of shifts.

But when the team needs a boost for a game here and there. Absolutely. And I think now warrants it as much as any other time would.

Everyone can calm down, for sure. We swept Shitsburgh to open the season and now they have won four straight. Things will change quickly here this season with every game being within the division.

Happy Birthday, Phil Myers...and myself....Lol :suds:

Im hearing Zamula may be ready to take over for Gus. Not a bad idea if we keep going in the wrong direction with our defense.

For everyone who thought wed sweep the Devils with no problem. They are 3-1-1 in their first 5 games and they play really well against us.

We need to play a much tougher brand of style play this year with every game being a division game. How do we play a tougher brand of hockey with this roster?

Very surprised Flyers are -145 tonight. Before season started I was one who said we needed to sweep NJ. They have started very well.

Won't enjoy seeing Ruff ... not a fan of that guy.

I know I have brought this up in the past, but thought I would bring it up again if any of you may have changed your mind in regard to Rasmus Ristolainen? If the Sacred fall again and are sellers at the trade deadline, would you consider a trade if he's on the block again? I like the guy. I think he presents a physical toughness to his game and he can eat up minutes. I think he would definitely improve our defense. Thoughts?

Ive never watched him play and i dont know if this has to do with playing on a bad team but for his career he is a minus 141. At least if we want to get him he would be cheap to trade for. He also makes a good salary at 5.4 mill for the next two years.
