Yep. And what makes getting tight to the cap something that's still manageable. Toronto has done some gymnastics lately too. Heck, the Flyers were doing it with the Pronger stuff.

Biggest question in training camp to me is the health of Patrick. If he's good to go, the Flyers are scary up front IMO. Might not have the high end that other teams have, but I'd put their 12 forwards against anyone at that point.

Agreed. Interested to see how the pairs shake out. Fletcher mentioned Myers would at least get a crack at replacing Niskanen.

I'd love to see Ghost/Provorov replicate their 2017-18 season. Or if Gustafsson could replicate that if Ghost is toast.

a fourth question is to see how Frost does at this level.

I like the pair of Myers and Sanheim and would like to see them continue but we need Myers up top now so we have to wait and see if that works.

I can see this trade happening if the Flyers retain $2 mil/yr of salary. Columbus doesn't look like they have a bad multi-year contract they need to shed in the deal, and I doubt given the current economic climate they're looking to take on too much in the way of additional salary.

If this does happen a domino effect of this trade would pretty much force us to trade Ghost.

Has Ivan Provorov shown us his new normal?

Provorov is coming off of the best season of his career, and the Flyers are going to need him to do something similar this coming season — with less help.
