I haven't watched but I see Koepka is in the hunt yet again. If he pulls another major off, are people going to start looking at him as a threat to Tiger and then maybe even Jack in the record books? It seems like the guy is just made for these things.

Tiger with 5 poor shots in a row for his 4th bogey of the day on 6. I think we can stop following him around for today.

Uh oh. Joe Buck just referred to it as the "British Open". He's going to hear about that from the Brits.

Really hoping for Woodland to hold on. My brother is the club designer for Wilson Staff - including all of the WS clubs in Woodland's bag. Would be big for them, having recently signed Gary.

Koepka choking hard on the par 5.

That was a chance to gain a stroke

That's one of the toughest par 5's they'll see all year and he walked away with par.

Yeah but he’s shooting everything way right.

He just did it again on 15.

Woodland played his tee shot well

Regarding Phil....I think the comments from Jack and Koepka play a part in Phil's lack of a USO (where the Majors were easier because some guys would bitch and complain about some aspect and play themselves out of a tournament). I think a lot of it with Mickelson is how he goes into each USO with a pretty negative attitude. Some of it has merit, but some of the things he's said before ever teeing it up speaks to his mindset.

The other, and more obvious reason, is that most setups are narrow fairways and brutal rough, and Mickelson ain't the straightest driver ever.

Phil is too old to keep up with the kids, simple as that.

He's gagging just like he did in the PGA. The others are going to have to give it to him. He can't take it for himself.
