Might as well have your teammates join in

Also stomp on his ankle a couple times
In general after the first 5-6 minutes, the rest of the game turned into an all star game like atmosphere where players were just launching 3's.
Observations though.
1. Jimmy Butler doesn't mess around. His motor was full throttle like you see from Westbrook.
2. Meyers Leonard is a big man, who can shoot. I was surprised how 'wide' he is. My perception was that he was much thinner. Not the case. Not sure what his perceived weakness is, but he competes. He was also very fan friendly.
3. Dion, in general, looked very good.
4. I have no clue what type of rotation Spoelstra plans to use. I can see a scenario where players like Jones Jr , Olynyk and James Johnson are fighting for minutes.
Bam, Butler, Dragic, Herro, Leonard, Robinson, Waiters, Winslow will prob be top 8?
Sounds about right. I think Spo will go 10 deep and maybe 11 deep sometimes in the season. Heard Knee looked explosive.
Honestly my biggest concern with this group is rebounding. That's where we'll miss Hassan the most IMO. Bam is solid at that but not at the level
With Dragic knee issues, I would go with the following starting lineup and bench unit.
Starters- Winslow, Waiters, Butler, Johnson, and Bam.
Bench-Dragic, Herro, Jones Jr, Kelly, & Leonard
The biggest difference between Mahomes and the rest is his ability to buy time for receivers to create space.
Of course once he lost his mobility they were in trouble.
Hopefully he's ok.
yet 2 hours before your post chief made this comment - "way too many mistakes. we may end up pissing this one away..."We’re all taking about basketball and dickhead over here brings up football again.

Just coincidence it was made while he was most likely watching the Chiefs?
I wouldn't either. That LAC loss has to make you think barring something crazy KC can lock up division early.yeah, hoping the same but I ain't too concerned. having some linemen on offense AND defense go down during the game didn't help either...
but keeping it in perspective it's only 1 game. hoping we can get healthy quickly. still in 1st place so no need for me to panic...
was gonna mention you nailed your prediction of pissing it away but held back.almost wished I HADN'T watched it. it was fairly ugly to say the least...![]()

I guess Oakland now 3-2 but I'm not buying them.thinking the same actually. coming into the season I kinda thought the Chargers were kinda overrated. season seems to be bearing that out...

Is there a reason Kawhi isn't playing in any preseason games or is it just precautionary?
So, just negated our best trade chip?
Only time your latter point has been true really is first few games this season.....but nice thing is in the other games he stayed in the pocket longer and moved around well to buy time....and it seems they went back to a scheme that was working.
You get most players/teams play better against bad teams than good, right?
in a very close game with a QB who is beat up you run the ball 14 times though? Also stomp on his ankle a couple times
Last question first....I think playing the transitive property game in sports does not work. LAC beat Indy who beat KC...and they just lost to winless Denver.Any QB with enough time in the pocket will complete passes. Not exactly a bragging point for Baker. Curious to see how this Browns/Niners game turns out tonight, as the 3-0 Niners are tough to evaluate thus far too.
So, now that the Bills beat the Titans 14-7 in Nashville with their starting LT back from suspension and the Bills and Browns have a common opponent with vastly different results, what do you think?
Solid commentin a very close game with a QB who is beat up you run the ball 14 times though?
Thats the problem with the Chiefs in a nutshell- they are a very good team but they play finesse football on both sides of the ball.
On the way into work this morning I was listening to the radio- and Lorenzo Neal was on- apparently he is a broadcaster in San Francisco and they were having him on to talk about tonights game.
He kept repeating an interesting phrase---- "You can't play basketball on the grass"---- meaning- at some point- you cant just throw the ball and have this high flying offense- you have to get tough and physical and be able to punch your opponent in the mouth.
The Chiefs seem to lack that ability. when it is going right they have probably the most dominant offense in all of football and its fun to wawtch and it can bury a team---- but when they get in a real physical fight how does it go?
14 rush attempts in a game where neither team scored 20 points. Thats playing basketball on the grass.
