2. Which East team is most underrated?

Sedano: Miami (43 wins, No. 7). You give Erik Spoelstra a top-15 player in Jimmy Butler and the Heat are going to win a lot of games. The last time he had a player of that caliber on a non-LeBron team, Miami won 48 games (2015-16). People don't realize how poorly constructed Miami's roster has been the past two seasons. I'm betting big on Spo.

The place I miss the most is the Vegas area. The summers are a brutal hell but the rest of the year's great.

I used to play in a basketball tournament in Vegas every summer. Games would be in the nice, air conditioned gym.

Then we'd have to walk out to our cars. Pretty sure I saw a couple of guys turn to dust before they got to their cars.
It was like walking into a blast furnace.

Like I mentioned to turnup I went to multiple games at The Shoe each year from '84 until '05. But I didn't go to Ohio State.

Went to several hoops games as well. You were there when one of my all time favorite Buckeyes played, Jimmy Jackson.

Yes!! Bball was far better than football when I was there. Sat 4 rows behind the 2nd O in Ohio (right around midcourt) when JJ was there.

Funny story - was some kid named Cornelius on Purdue's team. College kids, so of course we were yelling "put in Cornelius!!" Keady finally turns and looks at us and yells, "why, he ain't worth a shit?"

Your problem is that you are too focused on this season:

They should not be expected to contend this season.

But it isn’t impossible if everything breaks perfectly.

Depending on how they use their assets, it is quite possible if not likely they are back in the mix in 2021.

Not likely with all the question marks to their core and the long term contracts they are locked into.

To be fair, only homerish discussions I've seen with either have been them not able to embrace the obvious that the bad luck the Cavs endured in 2015 was far worse than GS in 2016.

Other than that I have thought both are pretty reasonable assessing their team.

Uh, well, no. Obviously the Cavs had more bad luck in those 2 finals. That's why they lost in six. The Ws had less bad luck, and only barely lost in 7 by one bucket. My opinion is that the Cavs would have taken the series to 7 in 2015 fully healthy, and possibly won. In 2016 the Dubs would definitely have won the series at full strength. No way to prove any of this of course.

and to me this is my only example of homerism from you. Getting Love and Kyrie is only worth 1 extra win? and GS "definitely" wins at full strength, even though they dropped 3 other games with Green?
