AC Green was an extremely old school Christian with a high set of values that he did not preach about. He took a lot heat for that. That's actually pretty good.

whether anyone agrees or not (they did) is irrelevant. I was able to prove with your own comments you contradicted yourself.Yet not one person agrees with you.
Keep trying, like I said, someone might just so you STFU.
I'll keep being me as I hope everyone is here. If it gets me banned, so be it.I won't bu
I won't but chances are you won't be around to find out being though you aren't smart enough to comprehend what the mod keeps telling you.
You just keep on being you though until we part ways.
I'd say he is far better player than Larry Sanders as well as Kurt Thomas. I mean, the guy was pretty much a double double guy before and after Lebron was here (and before he did it as a 20-year-old). Obviously, when you add Lebron (and have Love) his scoring and rebounding will go down some.Who do you see as his historical equivalent?
Like, I'm trying to come up with a decent comp.
He's not Rodman or even a Larry Sanders rim protecting type.
Dale Davis?
Kurt Thomas?
Skid row Charles Oakley?
“Tristan Thompson: Thompson obviously has a history with James, and while Cleveland could probably squeeze some value out of Thompson in a trade, it should also be noted that Cleveland is nearly at the luxury tax as-is for a lottery roster. If they can save money in a buyout, it makes sense for them to do so. “
CBS has a story up about Lakers potential C replacement.
Would Gilbert help LeBron?
I doubt it.
Fair, but we are talking a RFA not UFA. Teams also knew no way Cavs were letting him walk so why negotiate for them? In addition, I don't disagree for a second he was more valuable to the Cavs than to other teams at that time.True. But I'd bet we could get close. Start with him having no offers from anyone else and go from there. End of the day, it really doesn't matter how much he was overpaid. The Cavs had no choice. It's probably at least a small win that they didn't end up paying him the max.
Going into this year, he's being overpaid by about $8.5 million, imo.
That's a good one, too....especially with the durability.AC Green?
Which is crazy. Don’t know anybody would criticize someone for that.
In high school everybody makes fun of the last virgin in their friend group.
But this is different. He was a virgin by choice.
One of my best friends in college was the same way. He was actually very successful with women. Always had a girlfriend, but waited till he was married AC Green style.
That's interesting. I hadn't considered the Cavs saving money when I said I don't see them buying him out.
I guess it would depend on how much the buyout cost them. Not sure how buyouts work. If it's a negotiable amount and TT wants a shot at another ring, maybe he's willing to negotiate a low enough amount that the Cavs would be willing to pay it?
Wouldn't see Gilbert doing it to help Lebron, but maybe as a favor to TT who seems to have been a solid dude for them?
@dtgold88 What do you think?
From reports, it looks like things may be close between the Lakers, Charlotte and Dwightmare...but if that doesn't happen?
I don't think he's a max player but next summer I doubt he is coming off a Finals' appearance where he played a huge role.I believe I suggested that possibly LeBron/Klutch got him an extra 8-10M over the duration of the contract.
You are suggesting that much this season.
Who knows?
Some here act as though they need to defend TT like he is accused of being worthless, etc..
Nobody ever said that, he's just NOWHERE close to a max type player and next summer will settle it all and prove what his current time value is.
I don't think Gilbert cares about Lebron one way or the other. He cares about the Cavs.“Tristan Thompson: Thompson obviously has a history with James, and while Cleveland could probably squeeze some value out of Thompson in a trade, it should also be noted that Cleveland is nearly at the luxury tax as-is for a lottery roster. Good morning.
I don't think Gilbert cares about Lebron one way or the other. He cares about the Cavs.
I guess anything's possible, but TT does not seem like the type of player who gets bought out. Can't think of a similar player who was. Still in his prime, a solid player, no signs of regressing, etc.
hope not........they were in grade school I think (or younger).lol
Yeah, AC wouldn't be running around with any Kardashians.
Who knows if there’s any merit to any of it, but if there is, it pretty much negates people (Cavs fans) saying what a great asset he is.
Cavs not even willing pay him this year so they can try to get him back for another contract?
said in a previous post I cannot think of another player like this who was bought out. Not the type of skill he has, but still in prime, not a regressing player (could even still get better), etc. Also already has a ring with many years left seems the buyout guys are closer to retirement. That's interesting. I hadn't considered the Cavs saving money when I said I don't see them buying him out.
