I say 7-10M tops, we'll see.
Maybe 3 year/25M if he has a decent season.
I don't think LeBron can bail him out again.
You do realize TT was a pretty good player when Lebron was here? Led league in offensive rebounding which is huge to get Lebron, Kyre, Love, etc. extra shots. Solid perimeter defender for a big guy.

Might have been overpaid a little, but not like it stopped them from signing anyone else.

One of the kids that works for me won 10K once, and was just a few points away from huge bucks.
I remember he still had a chance with some players I'm 90% sure were in a Browns game that went to OT and then someone returned either the opening kick or a punt for a TD that ended it.
Prob 3-4 season ago.

I won a basketball one once, but not a giant one, just where you pick 5 players with weighted value.
It was in the Finals 2 summers ago and I was actually on a flight to Venice to I couldn't see/watch.
When I landed I turned on my phone and saw I won a few grand cause several others had same lineup.
Most I ever won was $400 (Christmas, 2017). Friend won $1200 and was on his way to a lot more with Luck and TY still going (with few having them) but Colts ran way and they stopped throwing.

There is more to it than that.

Analyzing how opposing defenses are likely to matchup for example. That info is available and the pros use it.

Which corner is your WR likely to matchup with? Does the burn victim play sides, or does the defense move corners around? Is the WR1 matchup too juicy? Because if it is, say Julio Jones matched against a corner who has no chance, then that can actually be bad for the WR because the defense may use bracket coverage or frequent doubles and your guy has a bust day.

There is a lot of data analysis and game theory behind finding optimal lineup combinations. And since only 20% of entries pay out and most of those that get paid are pretty small incremental gains, you need to be good at analyzing the data to turn a profit.
They use lineup optimizers. Anyone can get this data if they want to look. It's pretty simple.....100s of entries has a far better chance to win than a few.

As I said, mst weeks I'll have the top guys in at least one lineup, but with only 3-5 lineups less likely to have them together.

Your inability to recognize your own arrogance, doesn't mean your not arrogant.
argumentative does not equal arrogance.

Arrogance is the one thinking he knows everything about FFL for example, not the one who realizes it's mostly luck...even when he does well.

Arrogance is offering opinions as though they are 100% factual, not the one who says maybe, might or in my opinion.

Yes. I've always said that I would like TT on the Lakers. Just not at the current price. He knows how to play alongside Lebron and he can get you a double double with no plays called for him. I like his defense too, which they could use.
Think it's likely the Cavs and LA at least had a conversation about him? I cannot see LA having anyone they'd give up the Cavs would want and they don't have their own picks they can move but they could see if a 3rd team could get involved.

Even more of a chance after Boogie went down that they'd at least talk. Tough to get something done, though.

I think we both troll for different reasons, though.

The way I see it, is you troll to be funny or to mock posters, to add entertainment to the board.

I usually troll to provoke posters into arguing with me or to anger them into continuing to argue. I feel it brings out the best of their debating skills when they are little upset.

I find dtgold, Wiggy and I similar in that we all enjoy arguing to the point that we go out of our way to pick fights.
I think most here enjoy the arguing.

I still laugh every time, though, when someone accuses me of arguing while they argue. when I point it out with examples it's followed by a "right...it's everyone else".

Cracks me up, too.

Which has been the consensus, with the key words being ‘ at the right price’.
But for LA it's only not the right price because they don't have anyone they can give Cleveland who is any good that they'd get rid of who the Cavs would want.

You really think if the NBA allowed him to be a FA and made an exception to let LA acquire him for his current deal they would say no thanks?

You do realize Im entitled to my opinion on what he’ll be paid.
Did I question yours?

No. I think they would, if we’re in make believe land.
We’re not though, and they chose to spend what they had on others vs attempt to trade for them.

Yes, it is a good example. me being me often comes to me educating you. I really do understand you lack comprehension, but let me help you - again.

I didn't question what you thought his next contract would be.....I questioned you thinking Lebron "bailed him out" on his last one.

But don't worry.....I'm sure even though the mistake was yours you or someone else can call me out for your error then play the "it's everyone else" card.

so as I said, it's not TTs price as the reason LA wouldn't want him. It's that he was not available to sign. But this whole thing is a hypothetical as we knew they could not sign TT as a FA.

difference is I give examples to justify my comments. If I just said it's not me it's everyone else I would agree with you.

You use different words.

But the message doesn't change.

I'd be shocked if they haven't, at the least, had internal discussions about trying to work a deal. Hell, I'd expect that Rich Paul/Lebron would almost certainly have called and said..."Ya know, there's this guy on the Cavs you might want to kick the tires on". lol

Don't know how they could pull it off, but it would be great if they could. For the Lakers to be able to afford him, the Cavs would have to buy him out.

I don't know if there's some way for the Cavs to buy him out and still trade him. But even if there were, I'd expect the return would have to be pretty significant for the Cavs to agree to something like that.

Considering there are only two players that the Lakers have from last year on this team besides Caruso, I don't think the Lakers are even remotely interested in a trade right now. The will have to play some games first and see what happens
