Apples to oranges type facts.

You honestly think LeBron would choose Love over Bosh?

Don’t know if that can be answered, Lebrons GM skills will always be questioned.

sounds like another poll if you ask me...

Bosh or Love: who would YOU rather have...?

If both are healthy in their prime, Bosh was better suited to fill the role of 3rd option.
Neither, is good enough to ever lead a championship team.

You said "the West wasn't that much better"

Those are your exact words....and they are false. Taking out the strike year the 8 seed in the West was on average just under 10 games better than the 8 seed in the East. That is a lot better.

And I agree in their last seasons Bosh's cast was not that much better.....probably why Love won 40 and so did Bosh. Only Love did it in a tougher West.

Don't worry even though every advanced and basic stat says love is better...Tlance is still right lol

Now if it was the other way around tlance would be using every one of those stats to prove his point

Gotta love this forum!

I think Bosh was the better defender but Love is the better shooter, rebounder, passer and post player. They are both unselfish players that took to the 3rd man role very well.

At the height of their games Love was the better player.

Defensive rating is a shitty stat.

That one team was comparable to Bosh’s better Toronto teams.

They also had some pretty solid underrated players around Love.

How do you explain all the 26 and under win seasons before the one decent 1?

Did it ever occur to you that playing 2x west teams makes a difference. In fact that Minn team was significantly better.

Lets look at what Love put up vs Bosh the year they made the playoffs and Minn didn't

Love

26 ppg 12.4 rpg 4.4 apg win share .245

Bosh

21 ppg 10 rpg 2.4 apg win share .174

So it's either Bosh had better teammates or played in a weaker conference. The answer is pretty obvious, and neither one helps your point tbh lol

Ouchie!

Bosh is the better defender but part of that is severely mitigated by his comparatively awful rebounding.

Bosh's 3 BEST rebounding years he averaged 10.7, 10.8 and 10.0--- the only 3 times in his career he ever had double digit rebounds. Love's 3 best are 15.2, 14.0 and 13.3.

In Bosh's career he had 305 3 pointers. Love made 190 in one season.

Love has had at least 9 rebounds a game every single season of his career. Bosh 4 times in 13 seasons.

Kevin Love might have the best combination of 3 point shooting and rebounding ability in NBA history in an ERA where those skills are paramount.

Love is the better player. The PER and win share shows that...Unless he is ignoring advanced stats now

Love was also the better fit. Could rebound more and shoot a higher % 3. Love defense wasn't that much worse compared to how much his offense, rebounding, etc was better.

Love was also the better fit because of his extra rebounding 3 point shooting for lebron. We already know Lebron plays best with guys that can shoot spot up 3 pointers and space the floor so he could drive in. Pretty obvious

The reason tlance won't bring any stats up is because he knows he would lose...He is a clown if you will...Cries he is right, but is still wrong. Reminds me of Hilary

Love's minne teams were a joke.

In his last season there the starting lineup around him was: an ancient Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic, Corey Brower and Ricky Rubio. Thats really gross.

That previous season he was injured for all but 18 games

the previous season the starters around him were: Pekovic, Luke Ridnour, Wesley Johnson, and some combination of Darko, Rubio and Martell Webster.

the season before that? hilariously bad-----

look at the fucking roster around Love in '10-'11

the starters were:
PG: Luke Ridnour
SG: Wesley Johnson
SF: Michael Beasley
PF: Kevin Love
C: Darko

holy fuck is that bad. That is one of the worst starting lineups around a star I can ever remember.

basically, the stalwarts around Love in his Minne career were Luke Ridnour, Wesley Johnson, Michael Beasley, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic and Martell Webster.

And in the west, and they still only lost 1 game less than Bosh's team that made the playoffs with 41 wins in the east lol

Bosh's teams were defniitely more talented-

in his last year in Toronto the starters around him were : Barganini, Jarret Jack/Calderon, Turkoglu, DeRozan.

The year before that they made some moves--- but the main starteres were Bargnani, Shawn Marion, Jermaine ONeil, Calderon, Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon.

You don't think they can undo their image as LA's inferior team even with PG and Kawhi?

No. In L.A. it's all about the Lakers and Dodgers. On the sports talk radio station that broadcasts the Clippers games out here, the Lakers are pretty much all that gets talked about.

Even when the Clippers have been good and the Lakers bad, everyone wants to talk about how to fix the Lakers. Not how good the Clippers are.

One of the shows tried to have "No Lakers talk" for an hour...it lasted about 15 minutes. lol

With the Kawhi and PG signings, there is more Clippers talk now. But even with that, there's still a good bit more Lakers talk.

Opinions are opinions.
Fact is Cavs chose to keep Love off the court during important times of playoff games, including Finals.
