To lazy to go back.

BUT, is this really being debated?

I have LeBron third or fourth, depending on the day.

1. Jordan

2. KAJ

3. LeBron/Magic

.......I think 5-10 is where the debate begins.

In no particular order....

Wilt, Duncan, Bird, Shaq, Dream, Kobe....

The Durant's and Curry's could be added when their careers are done.

Y'all don't @me about Bill Russell.

It's hard for me to judge that era.

Best winner doesn't equal best player.

But, if I had to add him, I'm dropping Kobe.....lol

Kobe thing was just some troll digging, IF ya get my drift...

Charles Barkley says Sixers are the best.

......and I agree.

Clippers don't have a proven big.

Sixers have 2.

Love Trezl. But, he's undersized.

Clippers have defenders at the 1.

No staunch playmakers.

Our only advantage, in theory, is we have better shot makers.

Doesn't do us any good if they are in bubble wrap on the bench.

Advantage Sixers.

I actually see the Sixers, Bucks, Jazz and Nugz being better in the regular Season.

Oh, I'm always here for the anti-Kobe rhetoric.

But, if we are being logical/honest?

He should land anywhere from 7, for the homers, and 12, for the haters.

Anywhere before or after gets the side eye.....lol

Damn shame too.

No worries....

One more month and a half of nonsense and then we are back to paying attention to basketball.

Less if you are into Team USA.....

I am.

Same here and with football preseason getting in full swing now, I probably have no reason to really be on this board until mid to late August

It'll be interesting with the Clippers.

I could see the Clippers being able to do what the Raptors did with Kawhi last year. I think the Raptors were something like 17-5 in the games where Kawhi sat out.

Assuming "load management" and no actual injuries, the Clips role players are good enough to win most of the games where Kawhi sits if they mainly sit him against the lesser teams.

And that's not even considering that they wouldn't need to sit both Kawhi and PG at the same time.

Yes. I'm probably overrating him a bit, but it's my list. lol

I think that the vast majority probably have Kareem, MJ, Magic and Lebron in their top 4 in some order.

But after that, these lists become pretty subjective.

I don’t think it is too crazy to put Duncan at 5.

But I can’t rank him above guys like Wilt, Shaq and Hakeem who I think were more dominant players.

What I disagree with is saying that you can’t be a top 5 player if you aren’t best at your position.

You aren't a Lakers nor a Clippers fan.

Not even in this millennial generation would anyone root for both those teams simultaneously.

Judging by your posting content, this is a dupe, troll account.

Fuq outta here.

What's with the venom, Mecca. We're both long time Clippers fans. There aren't many of us out there even in LA. We should be lifting each other up not tearing each other down. TBH, I've soured on the Clippers when they traded Blake Griffin and I'm not much of a Kawhi fan especially after he pulled that free agency non sense so I'm considering giving up the fandom anyway. Good luck, though, to you and your team, I think the Clippers are the best team out there and they won't take long to gel. It's crazy how quickly fortunes can change in the NBA but it makes for entertaining basketball.

Yeah, I may have overstated a little on not being #1 at your position keeping a player out of the top 5.

I just would tend to give the nod to a guy who is #1 at his position over a guy who isn't.

Agree that Shaq, Hakeem and Wilt were more dominant, but I give Timmy the nod because of longevity. He was just so damn good for so damn long. lol

Fair enough.

I guess I'm just used to it.

What names do you think would be good alternatives? I was thinking the Bobcats or Coyotes. You know, typical So. Cal. animals, something along that vein.

You get I never criticized him for alleged stacked teams right? Just pointed out your absurd comments about Wade (and Bosh).

Wade was a bit of hyperbole but I stand by my Bosh assessment, he was an unimpressive third option.

How many 3rd options in the history of the NBA have been better than Bosh?

Only a small handful you can even make a case for.

Klay, Worthy, McHale

Maybe Allen or Pierce.

I mention Love, but he wasn’t better than Bosh.

But really, Bosh was arguably better than all of those guys.

I still think Kobe's all around asshole attitude had a little something to do w/ Shaq wanting the fuck outta LA LA Land. Didn't the Zen Master get so fed up w/ Jellybean Bryant he briefly retired?

See, only soft players see that attitude as "asshole" instead of simply being the expectation of full effort from teammates. Jordan, Kobe, CP3, Butler, etc. Some want to win at all costs, others want to do just enough and have fun along the way.
