Good point about there being other stacked teams during that time. I think Lebron gets unfairly criticized for having a super team because the way he went about forming the super team. The Celts team around that time IMO was more of super team than Lebron's but you rarely hear criticism directed at Garnett, Ray Allen or Pierce.

You get I never criticized him for alleged stacked teams right? Just pointed out your absurd comments about Wade (and Bosh).

I don't have to like a player to acknowledge that he is/was a great player.

I don't like Lebron either and he's in my top 5.

I just really don't care enough about all time lists to go beyond top 5 and I really don't even like that.

Basketball has changed so much over the years that doing an all time list is kind of a pointless exercise.

Not sure how many times I can try and stress that first comment to him.

Lebron's an ass......but I still think he is in the discussion for GOAT and would not shock me if he had another season left in him as the best in the game (and would show it in the playoffs).

If they change the name, and manage to win, I would be happy.

Yes. I'm probably overrating him a bit, but it's my list. lol

I think that the vast majority probably have Kareem, MJ, Magic and Lebron in their top 4 in some order.

But after that, these lists become pretty subjective.

If anyone graded the Lakers as an A, they were not being objective. Signing LeBron was great. The rest not so much.

I'm not even sure I give them an A for this past off-season. Probably a solid B, B+. It could become an A if Boogie can play close to pre-Achilles level.

Getting AD was huge, obviously.

Waiting for Kawhi (which they had to do) cost them. But they recovered nicely.

Yeah, if they were to truly look to change their name, now would be the time to do it. With Kawhi and PG, interest in the Clippers is higher than ever before in their history.
