1. Weren’t Sexton, Love playing whenever healthy, and down the stretch?
Who did the Cavs sit, and when, just for ‘rest’?

2. That lineup really isnt very impressive.

3. Whats the point? Who cares? Every team can find reasons as to where they could have been more successful —- if—-
my point was they missed a TON of games to injury and when they were healthy they were actually decent. And that your post, while stupid- was definitely not as stupid as your 6-10 is probably just as good as 1-5 in the draft post which was freaking hilariously dumb.

PG can't admit he was swayed by a Westbrook party to stay in OKC when he could've joined Lebron.

So, you're admitting that your Cavs were exaggerating injuries to tank?
i think thats a tough question. If the Cavs were in like they were the few seasons before I can guarantee Kevin Love would have come back earlier--- whether that would have been a risk with its own ups and downs compared to giving him plenty of time to get healthy is an interesting analysis.

Negative VORP. The most average 2 guard in the league is better than Wiggins, and that player probably doesn't have a max contract. Wiggins' contract is right up there with Paul's and Wall's, except those two players actually still produce at a high level; Wiggins never really has. That extra mileage isn't a plus when the player is a drain on your team from a production/$ viewpoint. Paul rubs people the wrong way because he doesn't take any shit; Wiggins rubs people the wrong way because he doesn't give a shit and isn't invested.

I mentioned the Heat since they were looking to make a big move (although for a PG more likely) and you seemed to think Wiggins was a good acquisition.

Wiggins is not a good value all. He is a bad contract.

But the discussion here is about whose value is more negative.

The answer is Chris Paul and it isn’t close.

Paul is signed for 3 years vs Wiggins 4, but he is making 11-13 more per year in those 3 seasons. He is 34 and has already proven to be injury prone.

As mediocre as Wiggins has been, his contract is not anywhere near as bad as Chris Paul’s.

Imo, in the context of a Wiggins for CP3 trade, it's a better deal for OKC. If nothing else, Wiggins is young so there's still a chance he could figure things out and become a good player.

But within the context of almost any other trade...it would be terrible.

This is wrong all around.

For one, I never said Wiggins was a good acquisition. I said taking Wiggins vs Paul at this juncture, I'd rather go with potential then someone who's basically washed. Wiggins' contract isn't right up there with Paul and Wall's contract. For one, Paul's best years are far behind him and Wall's always injured and is likely going to miss all of next year as well. That and he can't shoot worth a shit. Paul has alienated just about every single locker room that he's been in.

1. Did you compare it to, or know how many games other teams missed key players do to injury?
My guess is Heat players missed tons more then Cavs.

2. I never said 6-10, was probably as good as 1-5. Find it please. Good Luck.

Agree with Shannon Sharpe right now. If Kerr and others don't like what AD did then front office shouldn't be able to trade players with multiple years left under contract either

Same circle.
Contracts either allow or dont allow trades.
There is a reason every contract doesnt have a no trade clause.
Why do you think they’re constructed that way?

I do agree next CBA, it needs to be addressed on both sides, and allow less strict guidelines for a no trade clause.

Some rules allow owners to have advantage. Some favor players.

For example, a player can suck after signing, but owner has to pay him every dollar for however many years.

Examples, Josh McRoberts, Ryan Anderson, and tons more.

Based on what?

Also, to even out not having a no trade
clause, owners often agree to trade kicker of usually 10-15%.
Why is player negotiating this, if they aren’t aware and agreeing to be possibly traded?

Sorry,

But I am with Wiggy on this one.

If Minnesota were willing to make that deal, OKC does it without second thought.

Paul is a more productive player than Wiggins today. But Wiggins is still young enough that he can improve. Paul is on the way down and his contract is awful.

Only 1 player in the NBA with less trade value than Chris Paul.

And I am not going to say who it because it pains me.
John Wall.

You're welcome.

This guy is full of shit. Why would you sign a 4 year deal if you only wanted to give it 1 more year? Wouldn't a 1+1 make sense then? I really cant stand Paul George. So full of shit man

Maybe.

But, wasn't the rumor out there that the Dubs were going to offer Durant similar?

Again: We will find out during the Presti conference today.

Probably.

But, we now know without a shadow of a doubt that guys aren't falling all over themselves to play with LeBron anymore.

Sounds like it was actually the Clippers or Toronto for Kawhi.

One star passing is a coincidence.

We are well passed 1.

In fairness, I think it's equal parts Klutch Drama, LeBron credit vs blame and the Lakers administration fuckery over the last few years.

Yeah, I'm not so sure PG is lying.

With how quickly the trade happened after it first got out that it was being discussed, it certainly seems like OKC at least wasn't surprised at the request.

Chris Paul makes 124 million over the next 3 years

Wiggins makes 122 over the next 4 years

Wiggins is 24

Chris Paul is 34

I have read some dumb shit but that is right up there with the dumbest.
Yeah.

Logically, I know you are correct.

But, anytime I can wipe my ass on a Cp3 Jersey, I'm in.

I heard on NBA radio that it was more discussed then forced, and both sides were ok with it if Khawi went to Clippers.

True or not, who knows?
