Hey, did anyone else hear the Cp3 to the Wolves for Wiggins rumor?

That is a shit deal for OKC...LOL

I'm sure they would pass.

I saw some ESPN shows talking about it and they mentioned it was an idea floated by a reporter in OKC. My reaction was "Does that dude hate his own team?"

It's great for OKC if Wiggins ever gets his shit together. With CP3, he's not going to get better and in the last 2 years of that deal, OKC fans are going to haaaaaaate CP3.

Chris Paul makes 124 million over the next 3 years

Wiggins makes 122 over the next 4 years

Wiggins is 24

Chris Paul is 34

I have read some dumb shit but that is right up there with the dumbest.

Yeah.....Wiggins is a bit of a shit head, but his contract isn't an albatross and he has potential. It's just him figuring it out that's the issue. Paul's bordering washed status.

I guess all the other people that held the same opinion that it was stupid for the Lakers to sign a bunch of malcontents that couldnt shoot are just being haters too. lol...gmafb

No, you're a hater for continuing to bring this shit up after it's already been discussed ad nauseum multiple times.

Sorry,

But I am with Wiggy on this one.

If Minnesota were willing to make that deal, OKC does it without second thought.

Paul is a more productive player than Wiggins today. But Wiggins is still young enough that he can improve. Paul is on the way down and his contract is awful.

Only 1 player in the NBA with less trade value than Chris Paul.

And I am not going to say who it because it pains me.

At what point does this potential get adjusted to reality? His wins vs replacement is NEGATIVE, and he has a huge contract. BUST BUST BUST. Feel free to trade to bring Wiggins to the Heat, I'm sure the Wolves would love relief from his contract.

So then its 100 wasted posts to say what I said in post 1.
Cavs lose because players arent good enough.

Barring injury or unforeseen trades, Beilein’s first starting five should probably be Sexton and Brandon Knight in the backcourt, Kevin Love and Cedi Osman as forwards and Tristan Thompson at center. (Hey, not bad, you might think. This lineup, or at least something close to it, went 7-7 last season in a 19-win year.)

Also, this team was among the top three in the NBA in man games lost to injury last year, in part because of the organization’s desire to pick near the top of the draft.

What are you talking about? Where did I say bring Wiggins to Miami? I said that in terms of an OKC and Minny trade with Wiggins and CP3 straight up, I'd rather be OKC getting Wiggins. Wiggins is a career 19PPG shooter and in the right franchise, could maybe turn a corner. His contract is nowhere near as bad as Paul's, not even close. Plus, he's 10 years younger than him as well. Wiggins has a lot of mileage left in the NBA, Paul doesn't.

1. Weren’t Sexton, Love playing whenever healthy, and down the stretch?
Who did the Cavs sit, and when, just for ‘rest’?

2. That lineup really isnt very impressive.

3. Whats the point? Who cares? Every team can find reasons as to where they could have been more successful —- if—-

So, you're admitting that your Cavs were exaggerating injuries to tank?

Negative VORP. The most average 2 guard in the league is better than Wiggins, and that player probably doesn't have a max contract. Wiggins' contract is right up there with Paul's and Wall's, except those two players actually still produce at a high level; Wiggins never really has. That extra mileage isn't a plus when the player is a drain on your team from a production/$ viewpoint. Paul rubs people the wrong way because he doesn't take any shit; Wiggins rubs people the wrong way because he doesn't give a shit and isn't invested.

I mentioned the Heat since they were looking to make a big move (although for a PG more likely) and you seemed to think Wiggins was a good acquisition.

This guy is full of shit. Why would you sign a 4 year deal if you only wanted to give it 1 more year? Wouldn't a 1+1 make sense then? I really cant stand Paul George. So full of shit man
