Imagine if the Cavs had taken Leonard instead of TT?

LOL.
Taking a guy at 4 who went 15? worked out, but would have been called a reach at the time. Picks like this happen on rare occurrences in the NBA. seems to be the sport where the actual draft follows closely to the mocks as the GMs fear being second guessed, perhaps?

That said, taking TT at 4 over Kawhi not even close to the biggest LOL IMO.

Translation: "wishing and hoping our picks don't bust and future lottery balls. but hey, we got 4 good years in the past to fall back on".:heh:
And only took 4 years to get ready for those 4 good years. 6 years without a playoff series win? In a FA destination city? That's tough to "accomplish".

That said, you aren't entirely wrong in your comment and we won a title I never thought I'd see.

They still should have been able to make the playoffs

Dude, that's their top 6 players missing a combined 155 games. No one is making the playoffs with that kind of time missed. Especially not in the West.

That's not even factoring in the AD debacle that killed team chemistry.

Cavs traded Irving and Love missed a ton of games and we still made the finals in Lebrons last year

Lebron played all 82 games his last year in Cleveland, they didn't have their top 6 players miss a combined 155 games, and they play in the East.

fucking A i dont know who the next Indian to win the Cy Young is gonna be - Clevinger or Bieber or Bauer.

Clevinger just got back from his back strain- and in his last 4 starts has 24 ip's, 34 k's, 5 earned runs. Too bad this team has had so many injuries and doesnt have one more right handed bat. what a bitch.
And an owner who lacks the will to win of our bball owner. Turned out getting rid of Gomes and playing Perez worked out great. But how does an owner cut payroll when the contending window has not closed?

Will be a shame if they waste arguably the top FO in baseball, along with the top SPs and even BP.

I think I'd swap Kyrie/PG with Steph/Klay.

The names make Westbrook/Harden a top 5 duo.
Did you mean Kawhi/PG or Kyrie/Durant? Assuming the former, I agree. Latter, too, but only if Durant comes back healthy.

Except for the fact that they weren't in the top 3 most injured teams @DJ lol

NBA 2018-19 Regular Season Injury Data Summary: The Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Denver Nuggets were the most injured teams in the NBA during the regular season. The Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings were the healthiest

Which nba team had the most injuries - Google Search

Any more fails?
To be fair, pretty sure he was only referring to playoff teams.

Thats what some claim they want.
Pot of seeing a good team again is at the end of the rainbow.
Just one more season of it. All seriousness you think they'd be better off winning and losing their draft pick during a rebuild?
