I think I'd swap Kyrie/PG with Steph/Klay.

The names make Westbrook/Harden a top 5 duo. I'll be surprised if they're able to play like one all season and through the playoffs though.
Dame/CJ, Freak/Middleton might be better fits over what's in Houston.

Westbrook can't shoot.

How on earth is he supposed to flourish in that system?

Cavs are gonna suck for the foreseeable future...

huh, guess WiggityWack was right... :heh:

Especially when Love walks... they'd best trade him so they can get something decent for him.

Kawhi was sitting due to load management. How many players did the Raptors lose to injury?

Lebron missed 27 games, Rondo missed 36 games, Ingram missed 30 games, Lonzo missed 35 games, Kuzma missed 12 games, Hart missed 15 games.

They still should have been able to make the playoffs

Cavs traded Irving and Love missed a ton of games and we still made the finals in Lebrons last year

That doesn't matter. Ask @lebron23james & he'll tell you the Lakers sucked out loud from the moment the season started last year. And LeBron quit on the Lakers by not being 100% after he returned from injury.

Except for the fact that they weren't in the top 3 most injured teams @DJ lol

NBA 2018-19 Regular Season Injury Data Summary: The Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Denver Nuggets were the most injured teams in the NBA during the regular season. The Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings were the healthiest

Any more fails?

The Cavs will be as good as their picks turn out and what they do with Love. I didn't know they were one of the top 3 most injured teams last year. Just from that alone should mean they will be better next year, plus however their lottery pick turns out this year.

Coming off 4 finals and a championship waiting a few years isn't that bad tbh

Agree. Until we see how Westbrook/Harden actually work on the court, I can't really see them as a top 5 duo. If Simmons shows up with a respectable outside shot, we might be able to add him and Embiid to your list.

I've said before that I think the best chance for it to work would be if Harden plays off ball. His shooting can spread the floor so Westbrook can have room to get to the basket.

The problem, of course, would be getting Harden to give up the ball and Westbrook remembering that he has another pretty good player to pass the ball to.
