This is pure speculation on my part, but the fact that Davis waived his kicker makes you inclined to believe they've got a max free agent lined up to sign. I wouldn't think he'd pass up the cash just to sign a bunch of role players*

*even though I personally think that's the best option from a team building perspective

Well they needed to clear those guys anyway if they wanted to go from 23 to 27, which was needed to go for D'Lo or even go for multiple quality role players. Like we were talking earlier, even one quality role player (Bogdanovic) would take up most of their space if they stayed at 23. But the fact that Davis also waived his kicker and they did this gives them their most possible cap space, which is just enough to lure a top max free agent. Makes you think they do have someone lined up
