The Celtics had a better record last year during the regular season without him. With him they got bounced in the 2nd round. Without him 2 years ago the Celtics made it to the ECF. The Nets don't have the talent the Celtics have. You really think Kyrie will put the team on his shoulders & carry them to the playoffs? I don't.

You can always use another shooter. You don't know how well those guys will gel with AD and Lebron, it's nice to have options.

When Hollins does seem to make a fair point he completely falls on his face behind the reasoning every time. This makes me think he really is just dumb and not trolling.

He isn't close to an elite player but still a very good player. Of course he has declined and injuries are his biggest problem. DWade had injury issues and he was still a very good player late in his career.

The team needs front court defense for that 15th roster spot (or they could keep it open, as the Lakers often do, for a surprise player becoming available). An umpteenth SG isn't going to help the depth chart.

Yeah they have enough shooting now, they only really have AD, McGee and Cousins who are true big men. They need to pickup another big---specializing in defense/perimeter defense. There isn't much out there though

I think Christian Wood or Faried could fit. Faried isn't a true big, but would be used in small ball situations (or at either forward position for depth).

Debatable, lol. I don't find much value in Skip's reasoning either.
