They're not a good team.

They lost two of their top 4 players without anyone really replacing them.

When MJ left the championship Bulls team in 98, they went from 62 wins to 13 wins in the space of one season.

When Lebron left the cavs in 2010 they went from a 61 win team to 19 wins

I'll be highly surprised if the Raptors make it anywhere near 40 wins.
Green wasn't top 4 for the Raptors.

Kawhi, Siakam, Lowry, Van Fleet....

Green was somewhere in the Ibaka, Gasol tier.

He's a solid role player. But, a guy who has never averaged over 11ppg for his career isn't irreplaceable.

They will take a step back.

BUT, with a healthy OG, they are, at worst, a first round out playoff team.

I disagree 100%. The Cavs and Bulls were different...the Raptors are still a playoff team and still a good team. Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka, VanVleet, OG, Powell and if Siakam emerages into a 20 ppg scorer they will be a playoff team no doubt.

Yeah, top 4 scores were Kawhi, Siakam, Lowry, Ibaka.

Green gave them 10ppg.

His contributions on defense can easily be replicated by OG, who was injured the entire playoff run.

Replacing Kawhi is impossible.

So, finishing top 4 seems like very long odds.

BUT, the playoffs out East?

Gasol can do more. He wasn't asked to because they had Kawhi.

A lineup of Gasol, Ibaka, Siakam, OG and Lowry is a playoff team.

Jr. Smith to the Lakers is pretty much a done deal, right?

That......

He sat out a while Season.

But, he's kinda perfect for what they need.

The guy showed he can d-up and we know he can get buckets.

His shooting, Avery Bradley's defense?

Yikes

They'd probably have to beat out the likes of Detroit and Orlando... outside shot of Atlanta.

It's close.

Consistent offense is gonna be a big problem for Toronto.

Lowry, Van Fleet, Gasol have to step up.

Ibaka has to at least maintain that 15ppg.

Kyle's scoring dipped to 14 and change because of Pascal's improvement, Kawhi putting up 26 ppg.

Marc was at like 13.

Whose Orlando's PG?

Markelle Fultz?

Orlando

BUT, Detroit, yeah.

I really like what Atlanta has done.

But, like the Pelicans, they need another year or two.

Do they still have DJ Augustin?

Yep, he's listed on their payroll for one more Season.

I didn't know he made 7 mil per.

He's been great for them.

And one of the main reasons they made the playoffs. I’m thinking they regress this year

I don't think they need JR, really any of these teams...Rockets, Clippers, Lakers. I guess the Lakers could use him even more than the Clippers or Rockets

Clippers guards - Beverly, Lou Williams, McGruder, Robinson, Shamet
Rockets guards - RW, Harden, Gordon, Rivers, Green

You can always use another shooter.

But, you might be right.

How much did they pay him?

Both are Klutch clients.

Jr is the better shooter, KCP the better defender.

If you merged KCP and Cook together, you'd get something close to JR.

Do they have a roster spot?

I think he got 2 for 12 if I recall (could be wrong).

One more roster spot assuming the undrafted rookie doesn't make the team or get signed to a 2 way deal.

Just too many guys at the same position if you ask me.

JR, KCP, Bradley, and Daniels can only play the same 2 positions (SG and SF).

Yeah, you're right.

They will probably add a big.

They need another big man, but actually one that can play alongside AD and guard the perimeter worth a damn...not sure what it is out there.

Faried
Not sure if Koufos is a good perimeter defender
