That's NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter. He mostly knows jack shit about anything outside of the NFL but he's supposedly friends with Kawhi's uncle/advisor or people within Kawhi's close circle. So he knows some stuff here, but how much is up for debate. He's never given anything concrete, but in broad strokes what he's been saying about him is accurate.

If the Pelicans and Hawks want to move on...it could make the Lakers drop out of the Kawhi sweepstakes. Might be for the best, great player but injury prone--could only get worse.

Offer a nice contract to Green or get Boogie. Trade for Dragic and move on. Green might end up moving on soon anyway, it's getting to the point a player he won a championship is wanting to move on bc it's hurting his market.

I read that Kawhi's injury is degenerative, but it seems like with load management, he's still got plenty of years. However, maybe it's why a 2 year deal doesn't make sense. Kawhi needs to make sure right that he gets all the money that can get right now.

By public perception it looks like he's ruled out the Clippers. But with Kawhi, you just don't know.

I'm glad I'm not a Lakers fan given the anticipation. Back in 2010, I didn't think Miami was going to land Lebron James. I was pleasantly surprised when that happen. But Kawhi makes you damn near a lock to win next year.
