Or you need to read the entire conversation before commenting. I was responding to a suggestion that Butler may have gone to Miami for more reasons than just basketball and used Lebron going to the Lakers as an example.

If they pay him the MLE...why not take a chance on a year. It isn't going to hurt, even if he got hurt...who gives a shit. The only exception is if he is taking playing time from a guy that would benefit from the development of being on the court.

Wouldn't you rather have Bam out there? Maybe Cousins can play the 4, who knows....

Kawhi is sipping pina colada's enjoying these 3 teams bite their fingernails and pull their hair out. I don't really like what he is doing but it's not like we haven't seen this in the past from big time FA's so no problem with it and it legitimately seems like he doesn't know where he will be next season as well.

I would call those Celtics the equivalent of the Warriors WITHOUT Durant. Most of those guys are home grown and developed into stars with the Celts.

Homegrown, traded for or free agents. They are still 4 hall of famers which is a superteam.

Additionally, McHale and Bird were homegrown. Parrish came from the Warriors and DJ played for Seattle and Phoenix before the Celtics.

i think its almost assuredly the Lakers

i would laugh my balls off if its not because practically all the good role players are gone.

We would probably be left with Anthony Davis/DeMArcus Cousins Part Deux if Kawhi stays....which would be hilarious.

But alas, i dont think it is in the cards. I think hes going to LAL

I think we still see parity. I mean don't get me wrong that trio would be INSANE but it is going to be a challenge to fill the bench. They probably still win 2 titles minimum but it wont be rainbows, puppy dogs and long walks on nice beaches
