That's what I suggested lol. Keep DLo till the trade deadline and flip him.

I suggested Whiteside, he is gone now. I also suggested Wiggins. I doubt the Magic would give up Gordon, that seems to good to be true.

When the 76ers figure out their Simmons/Embiid pairing might not work out, D'Lo's not a bad fall back option. His game would be complimentary. Just saying...lol.

It's to the point where Carmelo Anthony is legitimately the best option for the Lakers bench right now. Which...maybe it could work if he accepts his role as a bit player like Vince Carter did several years ago. But based on his last two seasons, probably not.

down to 'Melo...?

...still trying to cope. ben, josh, harris, horford, embiid starting five... how? feel like they're going to try and be that team that trots out a 3-4 back when everyone else was doing a 4-3.

Wiggy said Miami was a bad situation and no way to change it.

#timevindicatesMiamifans

The NBA is very flexible if you have the right market OR the right front office. When you have both, you're straight. The Lakers don't have the best front office, but LA is an absolute magnet for players and it's about to land them (potentially) the most talented Big 3 in NBA history.

For Miami, we have market and front office. We were told that we were saddled in mediocrity, yet here comes Riley trading away players and making moves.

Now teams like the Knicks - right market, but grossly bad owner and front office. They won't go anywhere until Dolan's gone. Because Brooklyn's a 15-minute subway ride away and they'll grab the market for the Knicks.

OK...so how are you claiming a "win"? Did they sign Durant and Klay then let Green walk?

Kawhi to the Warriors?

I mean it makes the most sense. Then we get Giannis to sign for the minimum and we're set.

@WiggyRuss
So, Whiteside moved.
Heat saves money, which prob saves Dragic.
No picks lost.
Plus, its a good move for Blazers.

Next..

without a doubt. he is exactly the kind of guy you need....a 4th/5th option, solid defender, young, happy with his role, and seems like a good teammate.

While Butler is on to his 4th team in 5 years, is 30 years old with a ton of miles on him and is a pain in the ass pretty much wherever he goes.

when the Sixers played their game- Butler was not even that important--- when the Sixers struggled, Butler went into overload iso mode.

most of the games the Sixers played their best Butler was taking a back seat
I thought you watched the playoffs. Guess not.

But agree it could be a better fir for them.
