Draft day or July 1st?

It's a tough one for me. Getting those Woj/Shams notifications at midnight are the best. But then you have a couple crazy draft day trades and drama as well... I'm giving a slight edge to the draft.

It's close but I say July 1st.

It’ll be fun to see if they play better together in the NBA than they do at duke.

I wonder if it would even be a welcomed situation for RJ.

Most had him pencilled in as the #1 overall pick before the Season.

He seems like the kinda guy that would prefer the bright lights of Madison Square Garden over playing in the shadow of MT. Zion.

Imo, whether it's for AD or Beal, the Lakers need to try to get a trade done asap and definitely before FA starts. They need to generate some kind of positive momentum going into FA.

RJ has his eyes in the Stars.

So, he won't even workout for the Grizzly at #2.

Two Things:

Griffin, Rich Paul and Anthony Davis met today and reportedly agreed to work something out. Davis made it clear that he wants out

New Orleans reportedly has several people who were very high on Ingram and Lonzo Ball - but there is a catch now. Many in Los Angeles are concerned that blood clot situation with Ingram may lower his value and no one will want him.

Except, it's not that serious and he is expected to make a full recovery.

To be fair, it was his first 3 years and the Cavs didn't have much of a roster.



They also went to 3 finals and won a title with him. Obviously, that had more to do with Lebron coming back. So, they may have still made the finals with Lebron and no Kyrie, but I don't think they win the title without him. He was pretty big in that series.



This is legit. What I wonder about though, is how much was Kyrie and how much was the kids getting a little full of themselves because of last years success? My guess is...a little of both.

I think the regular season record w/ & w/o Kyrie kinda says it all.

If the Pelicans really do like these young Laker players and they can somehow get AD...it isn't just about acquiring AD but it immediately attracts other big FA's. Still don't think Kawhi or KD would come to LA but specifically Kemba or Kyrie maybe even Jimmy.

If they did get AD is seems like Kuzma, Ingram and Ball would be going along with the #4 pick.

And that'd be fine.

James, AD, and Irving would be a sick trio.

Who is this "many"? The reports I have read about the clot and the surgery to correct it indicated that that he should have a full recovery.

If this is true, this puts the Laker offer in front of anyone right now. If the Pelicans like Ball so much they might just ask the Lakers to not trade him for one lf those picks (6 or 7) and just include him in the trade

Winderman reported Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is preparing as if Bosh will be ready to roll for all of the team's preseason preparations.

You remember how that ended for those 2 guys, right?


Brandon didn't have clots in his lungs, thank goodness.

But, nothing is guaranteed.

I'm not taking a guy with that type of situation, when he is up for a extension.

NOLA is in the situation their n now because of betting on the wrong guys.

That's why I ask the Pels what they want.

Maybe they are willing to take their lumps for a couple of years and hope the players can handle it understanding that they're going to get their collective asses kicked for a couple of seasons?

Maybe they use the picks or 1 or 2 of them in another deal?

Or, maybe the Pels would rather just have Ball?

Shaping up to be a pretty interesting off-season. They just need to get the finals out of the way. lol

It is funny how the NBA is literally as much about the teams and players changing as it is about, you know, who wins the championship LOL
