The Cavs are working out Reddish. I think he is a risky pick but I also think if he did become a damn good player he would be pretty hard to stop.
He's 6'9" with a 7'1" wingspan. He shot something crazy like 54% from 3 in high school, his form and how fluid he is, is NBA ready but what happened at Duke in his one year? He shot awful, that is worrisome. He is a risky but intriguing player.

Bickerstaff actually interviewed with the Lakers. From what I hear he interviewed with 3 teams: Celtics, Lakers and Cavs. Sorry you are wrong again, it was between 3 and it boiled down to 2.

Interview does not equal job offer

He makes as much sense as anyone

It's going to be a dice roll on everyone but Ja and Zion imo

I even think RJ is a question mark but not as much as Reddish. Something tells me Reddish can be a guy that could take some time but he could be a very good player. Beilein could be perfect for this guy and his development.

What I would propose though is trading down to acquire more picks, maybe trade the 5th for picks and get the 7th or 8th and then pick Reddish there. Depends how high his draft stock soars after the combine and team workouts.

Agreed on RJ that's why I didn't list him

Somewhat shaky jumper obviously

Apparently, Gentry and Griffin love the idea of Ball, Ingram and Kuzma alongside Zion and Holiday.

Also, the Nets are going hard after AD from rumors. The package would be centered around Russell and Jarrett Allen. Their goal is to get AD to pair him with Kyrie.

I never thought the Lakers package was that bad. Especially considering he is leaving regardless

I agree, the fact is you know exactly what you are getting. The Knicks can offer Knox, Mitchell and draft picks. Both players plus picks are big question marks, they might have the best offer but still more risk imo

Yep I pretty much know what I'm getting from the Lakers. My biggest concern with them would be injuries and service time. With the NY guys I get three highly controlled players.

lolzz @you thinking that's anything but good news for the Lakers.

The path the Lakers are on this actually excites me that the Lakers didn't want him. I like the Vogel hire but the organization is in shambles right now.

Bickerstaff has a stellar track record and he didn't have anything to work with in Memphis. He can help Beilein develop these young players. Most likely he chose the Cavs is bc of Beilein, also his father is a senior advisor for the Cavs so it makes sense.

This makes things interesting.

From what has been said, it sounds like Gayle Benson isn't nearly as "over my dead body" re: trading with the Lakers as was reported.

However, it seems that both for her and Griffin, the Lakers would have to "win" with their offer. Meaning that if it was close or a tie, then they would deal with the other team.

But, if Gentry wants the Lakers offer, I would think that they would have to at least give it strong consideration. End of the day, he's the one who has to get the roster to perform.

Mitchell Robinson our together a fantastic rookie year based on the metrics.

And....he sat out of all last year. Imagine if the check had actually cleared and he stuck around and played d1 ball for a year. Nuts

I do too. End of the day, if the Lakers get a top FA or significantly improve the team, it really won't matter what the FO looks like.

At the very least, Vogel is solid and steady, which they could use right now.

Bickerstaff is a good assistant, but not a good HC. When he interviewed with the Lakers, it was for the HC and they didn't offer him the job.

So, your attempt to mock the Lakers was a failure since a guy can't turn down a job that was never offered to him.

You should probably apologize to @Shaqdaddy11 since it was you who was wrong.

Why is DSJ routinely left out of these offers? I would think he would be requested for sure?

Did anyone else find it funny that Zion was crying about being drafted by the Pelicans...

If he was drafted by the Knicks, he was going to be traded to the Pelicans anyways for AD. Quite Ironic, and he doesn't even realize it lol

I think it was more a matter of being stunned. He was being told Knicks/Suns/Cavs for over a month, then the Lakers/Grizz/Pels jump into the mix and he ends up with New Orleans.

Besides, the Knicks had made it known they would not trade Zion had they won the #1 pick. Not sure if I believe that, but that is what they claimed on lottery night.

Yeah not sure if I believe that either. If they got commitments from KD and Kyrie, they would give up Zion in an instant to go all-in for AD.

Yeah that's not going to happen. He likes to pretend he's right all the time and is too much of a wimp to admit when he was wrong.

Apparently very common amongst cavs fans on this board.
