Really wish the Lakers had something to offer them. Even the possible trade that you mentioned a little while back seems like it could/would be beaten by someone.

Dwight and JaVale are doing fine (so far). But neither of them can defend much outside the paint. TT can.
Same for Clippers.

We can match salaries.

But, it would likely cost us Shamet, minimum.

* plus salary filler like Harkless and another contract*

I'm not ready for that yet.

Yeah, I guess I just assumed it was Lebron. But what you say makes sense. Especially since it looks like Lebron is why Kyrie left.
I do think in the end it was more Lebron.....but things turned sour for Kyrie when he heard they were seriously considering dealing him (before he had his demands)

The steps he has taken the last few years is incredible.
Considering he didnt start playing basketball until he was 16

He is so long and athletic . And if he keeps hitting the 3 he is unguardable.

Sky is the limit for this young man.
He, Freak and Embiid were just blessed with athletic ability that you can't teach.

Some People think the Raptors are going to fall off.

Not me.

I see them taking a similar route as Portland when Aldridge bounced.

Nobody expected CJ to have a breakout year and for the Blazers to be a playoff team.

You have a Star.

He will keep the ship afloat until you add talent, develop another Star.

Glass half empty POV:

1) Absolutely no reason for Klay to return at all this year. Let him sit the entire year and rehab. Maybe play a few games at the end of the season just as a test run for maybe 15 minutes a game. Other than that there's no reason at all he should return.

2) Draymond gets "load management" this year. Save his body some wear and tear.

3) Get to see if any of our young guys are actual NBA player. I really like what I've seen of Paschall and Poole so far. Evans has a ways to go, but I've liked what I've seen from him too. Also really interested to see Smailagic when he's healthy.

4) The Warriors will retain their 1st round draft pick this year, as it's top 20 protected. That means we only have to convey a 2nd round pick to Brooklyn in the KD trade in 2025.

5) Warriors gonna end up with the #1 pick in the draft and take Wiseman.

here we go again...:rolleyes2:

the only thing "absurd" is you trying to tell me what to do...

1 title=1 title. who gives a fuck if YOU disagree...?
You since you keep replying, but I don't disagree and, in fact said 1 title = 1 title.

But this discussion was more than 1 title, or you are thinking Knicks = Rockets the last decade?

I would deal D Lo.

No point being stuck under the hard cap.

Don't give him away, obviously.

But, highest bidder between Dec. 15 and the deadline.

Or even better...

2.) Trade Draymond and a 1st for a bucket of rice and 2030 2nd round pick

Probably a good thing Rich got him paid this Summer.

Not saying he would have been let go.

But, his bargaining power would have been less if he keeps playing like ass.

Young guys stepped up and made some big plays late: Porter, Garland and Sexton. I think it is clear, with Garland getting pretty high minutes, these two young undersized guards aren't going anywhere and the way TT is playing he isn't either.
I definitely think more likely TT could stay, but could see the other side of this. If he keeps playing like this then selling high not a bad option.
