I was not trying to put down the Cavs team success. I was stating a fairly obvious fact. The current Cavs team is not good. It was terrible last year and will likely be a 20 win team again.

You and Wiggy successfully keep pointless arguments about the Cavs going in the general thread.

No one really cares about Tristan Thompson or Colin Sexton. Maybe Sexton will be a great player some day but right now he's a 2nd year kid on a not very good team.

So if you are going to keep clogging up the general thread with Cavs flotsam than you are going to get these kinds of responses.

To be clear, I have no problem with you talking about the Cavs but it doesn't have to dominate the thread. If you really want dedicated Cavs chat, start a new thread about it.

Cavs are better, but It's comments like these why I will never say you can never top yourself. That has to be a post of the year candidate. You get the Cavs knocked out Toronto in many of those seasons? should they have lost earlier and taken the 3-4th place (or worse) trophy Toronto received?

what many people believe is the "modern NBA" began in 1982-1983. Bird and Magic had given their brands a foothold. Jordan was 1 year from entering the league. The last playoff game on tape delay was 1986. Expansion and merger had quieted down by then. The league was no longer had rampant racism and a rampant cocaine problem. The ABA had merged in 1976 and all the teams were acclimated. the 3 pt line was invented in 1979

basically anything that happened in the NBA pre 80's was a joke. The NBA was a joke. Its like the NFL with cloth helmets and a goalpost at hte front of the end zone.

Shit, I'm not a Browns fan and those still sting. I hated the damn Broncos and did like the Browns. My Mom and her best friend were huge Broncos fans and I had talked a lot of shit. Lol

Unfortunately, these took place the first and second years after I moved to Phoenix so I talked a lot of shit to classmates, as well. Unfortunately, when they went down there was no misery loves company situation for me.
