Common sense would be go East where it is easier to make the NBA finals. This doesn't apply to Lebron since he won multiple titles.

Thibbs...

Guess it's no harm in asking.

@Sparhawk , @flyerhawk, @bksballer89 , @Heatles84

The Minnesota Timberwolves reportedly sought Ben Simmons in a potential Jimmy Butler trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. Appearing on The Bill Simmons Podcast on Thursday, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor explained just how high the Timberwolves’ asking price is for their disgruntled shooting guard: “One of the things that I’ve heard from a handful of sources is that—with the Sixers for example—the initial offer that they made, the counter-offer was like, ‘We need Ben Simmons in a deal.'”

I mean, I guess you don't know for sure until you ask.

But, Who in their right mind would trade a 22 year old phenom for a near 30 year old that he's just as good as, or maybe better?

Does Dolan still own the Knicks? lol

I don't know about that. Assuming that the Celtics and Sixers continue to develop and improve and that Kawhi is healthy and chooses to stay in Toronto, the East has gotten pretty top heavy.

In the East, if you're not on one of those 3 teams, you're probably not going to the finals. I think the gap between the top teams in the East and everyone else isn't as wide as the gap between the West and everyone else.

But in either conference, if you're not on one of the top 3 teams, you're pretty much playing for a 2nd round exit at best.

YOU BETTER TAKE IT OR THE BOOKIE WILL GIVE IT TO ME IF YOU DON'T SETTLE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Happened to me a few weeks ago when somebody else didn't settle it.
did u decide on Raiders/Browns?

like i said- if you sack up and make a bet ill make an equal bet on Lakers/Cavs. Cmon itll be fun---- and dude- the Raiders are favorites and the Lakers will also undoubtedly be favorites (unless LeBron is hurt). Cmon now.

you're gonna bet on the Cavs...?
yah i am sure it will just be a small bet to have some fun- but yes- if he makes a bet on the Browns/Raiders (where the Raiders are at home and actually favorites) I will reciprocate and make a bet on the first Cavs/Lakers game.

It will be fun to see TT muscle Kuzma and get like 20 rebounds on the Lakers awful front court ;)

Not sure how to feel about the Spurs this season. Excited to see their young guys play and VERY excited to see the further development of DeJounte Murray. DeRozan and Aldridge will be a nice 1-2 punch offensively, and DeRozan has said he wants to take that next step defensively as well, but we will see how that goes.

Not expecting too much. Just gonna enjoy the ride.

Also, great to be back!
