I made the "close time" Thursday night at 11:50 pm in case this game gets postponed until tomorrow night. There is weather out there and looks like it may cause another delay at the minimum.

Oregon St is a big time favorite.

-220 tonight
-330 to win the series

I do favor the beavers tonight and tomorrow. If Arkansas can manage to get it to Wednesday I think they'll win the series.

Here's my thoughts on why Oregon St is still alive and I favor them tonight.

Since their opening loss, Oregon St has been playing in it's element weather wise.

Average June temperature in Corvallis, Oregon is 77°

Their opening loss to N. Carolina (6-8) was on June 16th. The temperature was 97° that day.
They rebounded to beat Washington (14-5) on June 18th. The temperature was 93° that day. However, Washington is also used to cooler temps. Seattle averages 70° in June.

Next games

June 20th: Beat North Carolina (11-6). Temperature 76°
June 22nd: Beat Mississippi St (12-2). Temperature 77°
June 23rd: Beat Mississippi St (5-2). Temperature 79°

Temperature today was 78° here. That favors Oregon St.
Temperature tomorrow is forecast for 82°. A bit better for Arkansas, but still tolerable for Oregon St.

Temperature for Wednesday is forecast for 90°
Temperature for Thursday is forecast for 96°

Those higher temps favor Arkansas. Oregon St REALLY REALLY wants to get this game in tonight. IMO

I caught a big break in having this game tonight postponed.

Similar issue tomorrow where the temperature is fine for Oregon St. However, Wednesday and Thursday will be Arkansas weather. HOT and MUGGY!!!!

At least your pitchers get an extra day of rest after playing through the losers bracket.
