Toronto does have museums.
Does Rob Ford have the power to trade Hamilton for Raleigh?

On the Canucks side has anyone heard the rumor that Pouliot is heading back to Pittsburgh?
Well the need warm bodies and think Jack Johnson is good so he might be on the way. Please take gubberson too!!!

Also hearing that the ask for Mark Stone is ridiculous as well - Dorion wanted Bennett and Valimaki as well as a 1st round pick. Get lost, Pierre!
LOL at Bennett.
He's still young and everything but his career high points was 36 in his rookie season which was three years ago and he's not even on pace to break that. It's kinda getting to the point where he probably isn't going to project to more than a third liner on a good team here.Set up a pretty nice goal last night with a big hit followed by a nice pass. Having a nice bounce back year for Calgary in my opinion.

Off to tell Hamilton he's been traded to Toronto E7
I can't say I've watched him at all this season but his possession stats are still very enticing and I assume his GF% would be higher with an even replacement-level goalie behind him.FWIW it's worth I haven't noticed Hamilton in a good way much at all this year. His first couple of years in Calgary I thought we might see him be a Norris candidate. He seems to me to have weirdly stagnated or even regressed.
Maybe a change of scenery does the trick but this guy IS starting to run out of sceneries.

If the Leafs are actually moving Gardiner somehow, he'd be the perfect replacement IMO.

I think Jake is the Leafs' best d-man so I'd love to keep him. He's just been in the news today so I'm assuming any move would somehow involve him either directly or otherwise. He's still a good player but he has some pedigree and is a RD (things the Leafs need) but because of this he'll carry a hefty price tag.
The Leafs need him AND Gardiner, IMO, if they make this trade. Sure you can walk away from Jake at the end of the year but at some point you have to just go for it.
