Odd to say the least. Would love to have Bamba on the Lakers; he just doesn't fit the Lebron time line.
Yeah, he's still pretty raw.

But, he's long, he can give you rim protection and he's developing a jumper.

Even if they pay Vuvecic, it's not like they are one trade away from contention.

So, I don't get it.

On Wesley Matthews and DeAndre Jordan, Knicks GM Scott Perry says the veteran players can help the young Knicks in the remainder of the season. No mention of a buyout.

-Ian Begley

I would think they'd have some potential trade value

But If they play them they may actually be in danger of winning lol

IF they don't trade them, they are going to buy them out. They have no purpose on the Knicks.

Sounds like they plan on keeping them.

Don't buy it for a second. They are simply trying to convince people that they aren't just going to release them in order to entice another team to offer them something.

Not gonna work. Hell I'm not even sure how the Knicks could really trade either of them without screwing up their cap situation.

It's not like those two suck. They'd be an upgrade over some other expiring contracts I'm sure.

It would have to be expiring for expiring.

That's the problem. Other teams would need to want those players AND have expiring contracts they could give the Knicks.

That's a pretty specific group of teams.

So the Raptors are better than Boston and Philly but holy shit will Milwaukee crush them in the playoffs.

They had better pray the Bucks wind up struggling with one of the other big guys. And get some help beyond the arc.
