Uhh I don't know about that. Burks is actually a pretty good player and very aggressive going to the hoop (opposite of Lonzo). Burks isn't a good shooter but at least he can breakdown the defense and kick it to shooters. Lonzo needs to be more aggressive, it's too hit or miss. Burks also has length and better defender than Ball. I wouldn't say both are real difference makers but going by this season, I would rather take Burks short-term than Lonzo long-term.

He's very streaky.

Reminds me a lot of a oft-injured Hardaway Jr.

You already have a better version of that on your roster in Clarkson.

Do not fall in love with Burks.

He will preform well, get another extension and spend the first 2 years of his deal on the Injured list.

There is a reason Utah dealt Burks and picks for an aging 3 point specialist.

Ironically, I think it is a lot easier to be a PG that doesn't shoot well vs. a wing that doesn't shoot well in today's NBA.

But that is what I am saying. If the Cavs had their full roster in tact and added Lonzo Ball without dealing anybody,

Lonzo would start 100% for sure.

Because he has more talent than Burks and the Cavs would need to find out if they could make a Lonzo/Sexton backcourt work.

Is it ideal? No. But it is better than a Sexton/Burks backcourt for sure on a rebuilding team.

Yah just the thought of Lonzo and Sexton playing together makes me sick lolz

But he still is playing better than Lonzo and a better fit with Sexton bc he is an aggressive player, both aren't ideal. I don't want either honstly. Lonzo has more potential but he sucks....tbh.

Lonzo was actually starting to develop last season with all the young players. I feel like Lebron is actually stunting his growth a bit and he has regressed some. Not blaming them for signing Lebron, but Ball, Kuzma and Randel could have been a nice young core. They need to get rid of KCP tho. He is mediocre at best.

People are infatuated with scoring PG's nowadays.....it's kind of like people falling in love with 3's and dunks.....the lost art of a total all-around game is lost on the millenials....

Magic, Kidd, to a lesser extent Rondo when he was on the Celtics and they won, Ball.....trip doub's waiting to happen.

That's the upside case, Kidd. Still doable but looking more like Rondo or Rubio. Nothing wrong with it.
