Chris Paul is no longer a max level player and he's only in the first year of that deal.

BRUTAL.

I said that when he signed that insane deal.

@Shanemansj13

I really like the Melo comparison.

I saw a article that compared him to Middleton.

I don't see it outside of his height, he's 6'7, and reportedly, he has grown during the Season.

I see him as a Rashard Lewis.

Even if he is Melo 2.0.

There is a reason LeBron went before Melo.

Zion is not LeBron.

He can't create like that.

But, he is a physical marvel.

He might not be LeBron.

But, he could be the Next Larry Johnson.

If memory serves me correctly, Grand Mama was a fucking MONSTA pre back injury.

LJ was amazing. 2nd year in Charlotte he peaked at 22.1ppg, 10.5rpg, and 4.3apg while making 52% of his FGA's.

I loved watching him play at UNLV with Greg Anthony and Stacey "Plastic Man" Augmon and then all of them in the NBA.

Imo both arent going to be the centerpiece to get a championship but I feel like having Zion gets you closer. RJ is a pure scorer, he actually only shoots 30% from 3 but he cant definitely get better at shooting. I didnt know he was growing, if he grows another 3-4” should the Cavs take him #1? Lolzz
i dunno man...i think Zion has the ceiling to be a top 10, maybe top 5 guy once he hits his prime. He has Blake Griffin level athleticism with more flex to his game

He seems like a guy that could just overhwlem you phyiscally but also get it done with his skill set once its developed.

Its like if Draymond Green was actually a great fucking athlete.

Fuck lebron. Until that twat learns how to make his free throws he shouldn't even be mentioned as an MVP front runner.

You never know how a college player will translate to the pros but Cavs fans are calling Zion a possible top 5-10 player in the NBA?

I dont know about "cavs fans" but i sure am. its not like he would be that way anytime soon- a guy usually doesnt hit his prime from somewhere between 25 and 27-- but yah when he is at the top of game - absolutely he has that ceiling.

is there a problem?

I know his athleticism is crazy but his jumpshot looks bad, not Simmons bad but not good. I thino he can establish a jumper kinda like AD but the size still kinda bugs me. 6’5” 6’6” but he plays PF, probably SF ans cant shoot. I love him dont get me wrong, he is just like no other player we have EVER seen play this game really. 275 and he has a 40+” vert wtf

Cavs fans? Wiggy made one post and he said possibly, if he grew his game and reached his potential. Do you disagree? He has Lebron athleticism at 275, he is much shorter but still...

No. I didn't say that.

They would be worse than they are now. Worse than last year if they had neither.
Got it. I could see that, but look how he's lit a fire under his own team this season...so could be possible he could've done the same in LA. Especially with the young guys LA has. He & Ingram would've been a nice duo IMO.

Lol...hell no.

Giannis is a beast.

He's not on Lebron's level.

But, there aren't 5 other guys in the NBA that are better than The Freak.
I don't think we can compare them side by side, obviously because they're different players. However, what I think we can do is compare what each has done w/ their respective teams THIS season. Giannis' team is currently the better team - and it started with him.

It's hard to believe that there is a bigger gap between 14th and 15th place out West than there is between 1st and 14th place.

LBJ is only averaging 1.5 more pts per game but Giannis is averaging more rebounds & assists. Keep in mind only like 1/2% point separates them in the F/T category.

So not so sure LBJ is the runaway candidate in this race.

Currently being discussed per source: LA giving up KCP & a 1st round pick, Phoenix Suns giving up Trevor Ariza, & the Philadelphia 76ers giving up Markelle Fultz, Shake Milton.

pretty much what we figured- LA giving up a first along with KCP to get Ariza...

but, is that really worth a first rounder? i dunno......is the difference between KCP and Ariza worth a first round pick? its a question i am glad i dont have to answer.

Yeah, I'm on the fence about the first round pick. On one hand, it's likely to be a later first round pick and if it's a future first, it could be a really late first rounder. On the other hand, the Lakers have done pretty well with late first round picks.

Then again, it's a first rounder they won't have to use if they wanted to try to trade for star player.

I think we'll also have to see what other moves they make during the season and through the summer and how it all works out to see whether or not it was worth it.
