It just looks different when a guy sits just to "rest" vs. actually being hurt. Kinda points to his "effort" IMO.
His effort?
So coming off of a major injury and not risking a re injury is 'Effort"
Many stars have and are doing the same thing including Curry. And I wouldnt be shocked if he does the same coming off of his injury

How can anyone judge how someone feels coming off an injury playing back to backs.

Remember when I said something about them "resting" him in the first week of the season? Something isn't clean in the milk there.
So lets hear your conspiracy theory

I think he's fine.

They are just pulling a reverse Spurs.

We care so much about your long-term health that we are going to be overly cautious, even though it's possible your future isn't with us.

Not a bad strategy...imo
Fair enough...

Come on, Bubba.

He got you.

You and @WiggyRuss will do anything to avoid admitting that you are wrong...lol

Houston does need a wing though- James Ennis starting is just not good for business. lol......

Cmon Houston........you know you want the Cavs to take Brandon Knights salary and you can take Jr Smith!!!!!!!!

iits freaking December 7th...id be shocked if the Rockets finish behind the Lakers in the standings or the Rockets had anything less than a 5 seed AT WORST.

just think about in previous seasons- nothing that happens before February basically even matters the vast majority of the time.

Last year at this time the Cavs had Wade and Rose and were just integrating Isiah Thomas into their lineup.

I am DEF. not giving up on the Jazz and Rockets
What do you think about Burks?

Dude gets BUCKETS.

But, Dude misses half the Season OFTEN.

I'd keep Clarkson and try to flip Burks and Hood because they are in contract years.

Way to move the goalposts. You asked who won a ring without major help, Dirk did. Now, what, gotta win multiple rings that way to prove your point?
Thanks.

And only you would use a team that won as a fluke as an example to prove your point. LOL

Cavs have a lot of expiring contracts--- Hill, Smith, Burks, Hood......most might be able to help a team win some games too.

Houston would benefit a lot by trading the Cavs Knights contract and getting back say Burks and Hood.

First off yes, it's his effort if he's resting but isn't hurt.

Second, if he's afraid of reinjuring himself then why say he's healthy & come back at all? Either he's healthy or he isn't. Are they going to rest him after every other game the rest of his career? He's still young & in his prime. Give me a freaking break.

Third, Curry isn't taking every other game off because he's afraid to reinjure himself. He just played consecutive games after returning from injury, so that my friend was a bad example.

Burks has been fun to watch- has some nice athleticism.

expiring contract....decent/solid wing......might be a nice trade piece at the deadline--- the rockets could dEF use him and sit Ennis' ass on the bench.

I gotta say- getting the 2 2nd rounders and Burks on an expiring was a nice lil deal for the Cavs for Korver...

It's smart injury management.

Championships aren't won or lost in early December.

No effort.

They quit early in the 3rd.
I mean goodness...Harden took care of Gobert early & they STILL couldn't pull that game off.

Caving to Capela & giving him all that money looking like a bad move right now? Shoot, same can be said about CP3's deal too.

What do you want from the Rockets?

You clearly have them targeted because you have mentioned them twice.

You want to get off JR's Money?

Pick?

I said it when he was due for an extension, I didn't want the Clippers to keep him at that price.

Plus, he's not getting any healthier.

I think they will be cautious with Kawhi until the playoffs or at least until they are actually fighting for playoff seeding.

I'd rather have home court against the Celtics, Dubs and 76ers if I'm Toronto.

He looks like a top 5 player again.

Brow, Bron, Freak, Kawhi, Curry, Durant.....

Shit, that's 6.

Who doesn't make the top 5?

Embiid is creeping into the conversation too.

Butler is going to hurt his chances IMO

Yea they just better hope holding him back early doesn't affect him later when he has to play consecutive/back to backs. We've seen this strategy with Miami & Wade...it resulted in LBJ leaving the next season.
