The irony could not be more comical here. The guy cried that he was just trying to be funny in an earlier post. Then gets worked up because I mentioned he should say I claimed Nance > Pippen? As though I really think he said that?

sorry, but ya gotta love this forum.

Well you sure think I said Klay over AD & Embiid. Go ahead & try to spin that nonsense in your favor.

The only person crying is you. As usual.

I don't think it's even a question. The idea his level of crazy would just turn bad or mediocre players into winners is absurd to me.
What you're missing is Draymond isn't crazy, he's competitive . He's not Ron Artest. He could be a good coach someday.

85% is what his role encompasses on the team. What he's expected to bring on a given night versus what he produces. Again, his offense and scoring have always been BONUS for the team. It's not essential it's a luxury. 60% of Draymond's value to the team is his defense. He brings that every night, but even there I'm docking him about 5% because he hasn't been DPOY Draymond this year, but still incredibly valuable. Of the 40% that goes towards his offense, 25% of that is his facilitating on the offense, which he's been doing spectacularly again this year. The remaining 15%, i'm only giving him 5% to his scoring.

55+25+5 = 85% of his role.
I'd say no more than 47, 18 and 3 which = 68%

Never mind you said he was 85% MORE VALUABLE than ever. If anything, with Durant and Cousins, he is less valuable. Are you really going to argue this point?

OK, but Nance is not exactly a bad defender. Moves well and very athletic.

Never said he was. Just it's hard to compare a "not a bad defender" to one of the best in the game.

not at all.....Wamu had a bigtime meltdown over basically nothing. He cried earlier I took a comment too seriously then went into Yosemite mode over a comment I made that was not exactly serious. I knew he didn't say anything about me thinking Nance > Pippen. Hilarious.

Please go back and re-read what I wrote. I said Draymond is doing 85% OR more of what he's done in the past. LOL, reading is key bro.

OK...then we have the fact Nance is a far better scorer and is becoming a more than capable facilitator now that he is given the chance.

Gotcha, so you wanna play the shoulda/woulda/coulda game. That's cool.

Those words don't mean what you think they do.

Let me see if I gots this right.

Nance, Jr. > Draymond

any other GM > Pat Riley

Tristan > Whiteside

Dan Gilbert > any other owner

Cleveland > Miami

macaroni salad > potato salad
This would be where you implied I thought Nance > Green. Green would be the Draymond guy, or maybe you meant another Draymond. My apologies if you did.

Still denying you said this? Even though I said over and over I do not think Nance is better.

I don't know if you know this or not, but you've been saying it. While not outright, it's clearly implied by every one of your posts comparing him and Nance. Again Nance isn't trash, but he's not in Draymond's league. And it's evident because the MAIN points of contention for you saying that they are similar is scoring production, when it's never been Draymond's strength or role to begin with. You're simply picking areas you think Nance would provide value to the Warriors in a potential swap, while discounting nearly every other thing he does for the team better than Nance, including any intangibles he brings to the locker room.

I don't believe you think Draymond is trash. I do believe you think Nance is probably better than he is (and I'll admit maybe even better than I believe he is), but there's a clear cut difference between the players and what they bring to the table on a given night.
Agree.....which was why my original comment was only MAYBE Nance could become this type of player.
