exactly.

Cavs, coming off 4 straight Finals appearances and going balls to the wall for 4 straight years, are already in better shape going forward.

the Cavs will have a top lotto pick, have 2 EXTRA first rounders and a boatload of 2nd rounders.

The Heat owe a first round pick and have traded away all their 2nd rounders for years to come.

Cavs will win a playoff series before Miami does. Take it to the bank.

Yet the Heat will always have a better team.

lol
All roads lead back to Love for you.

And, what other star has left their team to go play with LBJ? None. We'll see if this continues to hold true this summer in LA.

None, huh? I get on in you to admit to a mistake but this guy says hello.....

Cavs lost Lebron and their spending only went down by about $12M, yet lost just a few more games....and this is before Love's extension kicks in.
well thats what happens when your owner basically buys a couple first round picks and 6 2nd round picks to help jump start a rebuild. lol

are you on crack? wtf happened hte last 4 years? lol

Do we need to continue to say any year when James wasn’t on the roster?

When is the last season that the Cavs had a better record then the Heat when James wasn’t on the Cavs?

rigged lottery? lol

it was the 2nd shooter on the grassy knoll man....lol
Have a feeling those who think it's rigged have no clue how it is run. I know a Cleveland write (maybe Mary Schmitt Boyer) has attended the proceedings and said no chance it could be rigged.

Probably been a while...last time Heat was better without Wade?

Idk
Point is all the Cavs losing , top picks, etc never even amounted to making the playoffs without James, and won’t anytime soon.

I was using "rigged" as a euphemism for "something that made me want to vomit".

0 chance its rigged.
Also get why not on TV. If they showed the proceedings they'd have to go from 1-14 when more exciting to go from 14 to 1.

also could be a little boring as there would probably be times the same team got called when they had already been assigned their pick.

How many of those late 1st rounders and 2nd rounders do you really expect to spark your rebuild? This isn't a very deep draft.

They'd have to get lucky with Houston's pick. I think the other picks are more likely to be used in future deals.

Again, not holding a lot of value necessarily for future deals either.

i have no clue.....i mean, no one thought Kuzma was gonna be shit as a late first rounder--- that and they only get one of the 1st rounders this draft--- and the 2nd rounders, many are in future drafts as well.

definitely not a high hit rate of any individual pick, but, its a few darts to throw at a board and hope you can get the next contributor--- either that or use it as ammo to trade for other players/trade up/etc.

Because a Cleveland writer is going to say it could be rigged as the Cavs continue to get lucky? Not exactly the most reliable example to defend the lottery process.

How do you know? Picks like these were used to obtain many of the parts used for the cavs title team and other Finals' appearances.
