Kind of like this pearl of wisdom....Awesome comeback...
"You wont have to worry about him missing playoffs games, prob for the remainder of contract if Cavs keep him."

Cavs were 15 minutes removed from a title team. Had a team built to play with Lebron and if you didn't know had just played in the Finals. Heat were built for NBA Purgatory?Cavs salary: 123,699,800
Heat salary: 125,032,626
Cavs wins: 19
Heat wins: 38
Cavs cost/win: $6,510,515.79
Heat cost/win: $3,290,332.27
Which team was overpaid?

so if he signed a 2 or 3 year deal you know for a fact his kids would have stayed? Did they go to Chicago.
You do realize the Cavs are coming off 4 straight Finals appearances. That isn't exactly apples to oranges LOL.
Looks like next year:
Heat - $136M.
Expiring contracts - $46M
Whiteside $27M
Dragic $19M
Those aren't exactly 2 contracts that will be easy to trade if they try.
Cavs - $136M.
Expiring contracts - $83M
Delly - $10M
Knight - $16M
J.R. - $16M
Clarkson - $13M
Henson - $10M
TT - $18M
Most of these contracts are very trade-able imo. TT, might be the only one if they decide that could be tough otherwise they could get a lot of assets for these contracts if they decide to trade.
they have done that and added high lotto picks like Gordon, Bamba, Isaac. Now they are at the point where they need to add to the team and start making progress. But wouldn’t they be better off winning 20 games and hoping for a top 3 pick?
Don't flatter yourself cupcake, you know as well as anyone how trolling works.nice! lol
Do you realize that contracts the Heat handed out were in the crazy first summer of cap increase?

I hope that is the position the Cavs will be in after next season...they will have Sexton, this years lotto pick, and next years pick, hopefully a bunch of extra picks. After that its time to try and get the young guys some experience and make their moves. ---kind of like where Orlando is at this year.
They never should have matched the Tyler Johnson offer sheet. The other contracts were all reasonable.
I am saying you can only tank so long and get so many high level college players before you have to add veterans and make your move and see if you drafted the right guys at the top of the draft. If Orlando drafted the right guys out of Isaac, Bamba and Gordon they will be in good shape going forward- if they didnt, the best they will probably do is a low seeded playoff team that will have a limited ceiling.Double talk.
Based on your other 10000 posts, being first round fodder is a terrible situation.
Regardless of whom they added the last few drafts, you’re now saying the experience they will gain outweighs getting a potential top 3 player this draft?
i mean is that an excuse for Riley's stupidity? James Johnson at 16M a year is cool because the Lakerse just gave Mozgov the same ! lol.Do you realize that contracts the Heat handed out were in the crazy first summer of cap increase?

exactly.Yeah so, both teams will have cap space in the future but the Cavs will have cap space a year earlier and more cap, most likely a better core along with young players and this will be 2-3 years coming off 4 straight years in the Finals. The Heat when they have cap space will be coming off 6-7 years, the last time they made the Finals LOL. Huge difference and way faster rebuild, Riley just did a poor job.
Cavs will win a playoff series before Miami does. Take it to the bank.
Yes, and they took on a bad contract (Knight) for a 1st rounder because their owner will do things like thatCavs lost Lebron and their spending only went down by about $12M, yet lost just a few more games....and this is before Love's extension kicks in.
lolwe don't all know it because, in fact, Lebron did commit after his rookie deal. But he took a shorter deal than a max for deal #2 and never showed any signs he would stay, thus, making it harder to lure FAs.
Notice when he committed in 2014 they could more easily bring guys in? Like that love fellow who asked to be moved here and resigned?
That's the point....you have no clue what he would have done with his kids had he signed a longterm deal. McFly?Kids went to Chicago, yes.
The other question is a ridiculous hypothetical.
