k, she might have a head trip or 2, but I don't think she's a dope fiend...

...hey, a dad can hope...

I certainly hope not. It just seems like I've been involved in several discussions lately about the lost musicians from the 90's Seattle scene. Most bands lost a member or close friend along the way....

if Lonzo Ball turns into Elfrid Payton, I think the Lakers would be ecstatic.

@Mecca

guy has done fairly well considering what he once looked like.

Payton career: 11.1 pts (.454/.303/.630), 6.6 ast, 4.4 reb, 1.3 stl, 0.3 blk, 2.5 TO
Ball career: 10 pts (.380/.315/.449), 6.4 ast, 6.2 reb. 1.6 stl, 0.6 blk, 2.4 TO

Ball would have to regress in every category other that FG% and FT % to "turn into" Elfrid Payton.

I mean, obviously not career averages because the guy has bounced around- but what hes turned into this year....a guy that, when healthy, has put up a few triple doubles and is a threat on any given night.

Players contracts are based off of performance and stats.
Both Love and TT will soon be in that position again.
If they could have been on the court, my guess is we’d have heard about it.

James scenario is 100% the opposite, and we all know that he’s more then happy to sit at this point.
Love is signed for 4 years after this one. Care to retract?

New Orleans is not a model to follow IMO. Talk about inflating stats on a bad team.

@dtgold88

obviously not basketball- and ill limti it to this- but have you seen the Tribe's starting pitching thus far? holy shit. One of the best rotaitons i have ever seen in my life on any team

this rotation would give the 90's Braves of Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Avery a run for their money.

Kluber is disgusting- 2 time cy young winner

Bauer looks unreal and i think could very easily win the Cy young this year

Clevinger is just nasty and would be the #1 starter on half the teams in the league

Carrasco would be the #1 starter on half the teams in the league

Bieber is the best #5 i think i have ever seen.

Its simply unreal.
will be my only reply...unreal the only off starts were by Kluber and Carrasco while Bauer and Clevinger have been unhittable.

Not the best competition, but still....

And your opinion figures in that FA aren’t going Cleveland, so I get it.
Different mindset here.
Fair point, but even with that advantage let's play the same game you play with the cavs/Lebron....how much success has Miami had without Wade?

Huh? looks like Payton is better in ppg and assists.

Wouldn't really say Ball improved much this year in the time that he did play. His shooting got a little better but that isn't saying much. Not sure how you can regress when he shot 45% from the FT but he managed lol

Miami is a better destination but why would someone want to play on that roster. I mean the last time they recruited a FA is when Wade recruited Lebron and Bosh. Wade will be gone now. Like I said, more likely a FA goes there but say the Cavs somehow got Zion. A trio of Love, Zion and Sexton would be way more enticing than Richardson, Bam and Winslow...plus imo Cleveland is more enticing city now that they have a championship and that history of Lebron.

What question didn’t I answer?
These were the questions.......I am curious-- when you say somethign like this what are you thinking? That one day he COULD be a top 10 PF in the league in your opinion?

becuase right now- of course you know this- he is not even close to top 15 PF in the league. Hes not a top 30 big man in the league.

So what you think he could be ONE DAY down the road a top third of the league PF? MAYBE?

You replied, but didn't answer the question.

And when the Cavs actually do something or finish ahead of the Heat, get back to me.

Until then..... just your usual 100,000 meaningless words.
didn't they just spend the last 4 years "doing something and finishing ahead of the Heat"?

I feel good for Orlando

Its a nice step for them to make the playoffs this year- especially because I think there 2 most high ceiling players, Bamba and Isaac, arest ill so young with so much upside. I think at leaset one of them will become a very very good player at some point.

Orlando took that step which is cool. They should continue to improve if they can keep Vucevic.
