The Heat enter this week .5 game up on Orlando with 3 games against Toronto and Boston while Orlando had 2 home games vs Knicks and Atlanta.

It was pretty obvious Heat would be out of the playoffs at the end of the week. It was just a matter of how many games

Boston and Toronto are obviously both better then Miami, but on top of that, Boston this week actually looked like the good Boston most of the time, and the Raptors are playing as hard as they can to try to finish with a better record then the Warriors.

Losing these games are the final nails in the coffin, but missing the playoffs was due to losing to bottom feeders throughout the season, especially at home.

LOL the blatant 2007-08 tank job is PRECISELY how you landed your big three. Because your team wasn't good, it allowed you to deplete your entire payroll by 2010.

And when have the Cavs been better than the cHeat? The last four years before this one, that's when...lol

I have no issue with sucking for A season, and especially if its related to injuries.
Not only that, most teams suck for the hopeful draft pick, not because they plan to sign 2 top FA's.

As far as 2010, Riley intentionally had a bunch of players on 1 year deals heading into that summer.

So last week it was bad for the Heat to make the playoffs, but now its a bad thing if they miss?

Actually being the 9 seed is kinda worse than the 8, yes. But I would love it if the basketball gods went in dry on Wiggy and got you guys the first pick with bout a 3% chance LOL

One of the things I really like about how the Cavs have operated in recent years is the type of guys they bring in. Times are always going to get tough and if you have a bunch of knucklheads and selfish players its awful hard to get out of those tough times that inevitably happen in any team's NBA season. Cavs always wanted to add guys that work hard and have a good attitude whether thats guys like James Jones or Kyle Korver or Larry Nance Jr., or Osman, or Sexton or Richard Jefferson etc. etc. etc.

One of those great guys has been Channing Frye. He is retiring at the end of the year. A guy who, had some moments, but was without a doubt more of a great leader and a great clubhouse presence that kept everyone accountable and everyone moving in the right direction.

The Cavs mobbed him as he left the floor tonight. He was a part of the championship squad and will always be a guy that is remembered fondly in Cleveland, a little bit for his playing ability, but mostly for being a guy that represented the franchise well and was everything you could ask out of a teammate.

Yep as the Heat writers been bringing up this week. It isn't the losses this past week that's causing them to miss the playoffs.

It is the 3 losses vs ATL and the home losses to Phoenix and Chicago

I will take the 12th pick with no problem.

Unless the Heat are planning on making Winslow the permanent PG when Dragic leaves, I think they should really look into drafting a PG with their pick.

Cavs got Kyrie and Bulls got Rose with I believe the 3% or less odds.
As far as the Heat, other then seeing Wade lose once again in round 1, it really doesn't matter.

The West 1st round is almost perfect right now.

All I need is for the Clippers and Spurs to swap positions.

If that happens then the first round would look like this.

1) Warriors vs 8) Spurs
2) Nuggets vs 7) Clippers
3) Rockets vs 6) Thunder
4) Blazers vs 5) Jazz

@TurnUpTheHeat I don't like how the Heat did McGruder yesterday. Not a fan of his but let him finish out the season. Not a good look at all IMO
