2018-2019 NBA Regular Season Thread

I've been saying this for years, even if you aren't a fan of the Warriors, if you are a fan of the NBA how can you not enjoy watching Curry and the rest of them play? Curry is the most no-drama superstar since Tim Duncan, the team is on the list of best ever to play, they play the game right with an exciting pass-first offense and lots of defense leading to fast breaks. Yes I get that Draymond (and now Cousins) are jackasses but so was Rodman and people were all about the 90s Bulls.

Someday young people will be all 'oh wow what was it like watching that team?" like young 'uns do today asking about the 90s Bulls and 80s Lakers. And you got to watch them.

I agree w/ what you said. But since you mentioned jackasses KD has to also be mentioned.

The Bulls of the 90's were something else. And please don't remind me of the Showtime Lakers ever again. It just brings up bad memories.

I can sit back and appreciate the Warriors but I'm going to root against them every time just as I did with the Bulls. I was too young to have much of a rooting interest against the Lakers until they made the finals against Detroit.

I'm not rooting for the Warriors. I just don't think anyone can beat them in a 7 game series.

Oh for sure, you gotta root against the dynasty, that goes with the territory. But you gotta watch to see the almost unheard of quality of play and the fun style.

I find GS a team of front runners. Their "superstars" perform great when they know the outnumber the other team, and shrink when they don't...Collectively as a group they are great, big whoop, when competition is level they lose...

Fans should know better then to spend big money in advance for any games the last week of the season.

Oh, I agree. If a playoff spot was locked up, at the very least, he'd be on a serious minutes restriction.

Man something ain't right. Those damn edibles kicked in again. And then I got to thinking how stoned could I get if I put an ounce of Sticky Icky on my charcoal grill & light the muther fuker up. Good thing I ain't driving anywhere today.

I found out yesterday that there is such a thing as Pot Bacon.

I'm not really into edibles, but I'm gonna try that. If there's a way to improve bacon, that would be it. lol

The last time I had a pot brownie, it took awhile for it to kick in.

Before it did, I decided to mow my lawn.

So, I'm mowing my lawn and about halfway through, I'm trying to figure out why the mower is getting harder to push.

Then I remembered that I had eaten a pot brownie. lol

One problem w/ edibles is the inexperience of some people taking them. They don't understand it's not the immediate head-high you get from toking up. Depending on the mg dosage it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour & a half to fully kick in. And people get impatient & decide to eat more of their edible. Then bam! it all kicks in & they're fucked.

Personally I'm a big fan of edibles. They treat me well. But I always know exactly how much I'm consuming.

Miami goes 41-41 IMO if Winslow is back by Wednesday. If he and Richardson both don't play again then I agree with you on their record.

Best thing Miami got going for them is Philly would have zero reason to play that game. They should lock up the 3 seed sometime this week.

Same for Toronto and the 2nd seed.

Basically to make it simple, if both Winslow/Richardson don't return then they won't make the playoffs. If one or both do then I think they make the playoffs.

With how good Miami is on the road, 4-2 is possible as well.

I'm just hoping all the teams lose tomorrow because I see no way how Miami beats Boston tomorrow
